Got rip-off by the Unifi installer, charged me RM500 for over the roof installation.
RM300 for over the roof installation as the line comes from rear goes over the roof and come to the front living room.
RM200 (initially RM380 before nego) for the RJ45 cable they lay from router to tv (about 10-15feet) and another RJ45 from living room to top floor bed room.

They seems to use very low quality cables and very lousy workmanship.. Didn't thought much about it cause was very tired..

Lesson learned

recently my Unifi speed is not consistent around 28 to 30mbps.
Speedtest results is vary from 5mbps to 20 mbps.. Each time do speedtest, I can't get the result around 28 - 30mbps anymore.

Anyone here experience this ? Normally what is the caused ?

Hi guys, thank you for the awesome thread. My unifi phone is broken recently, there is no dial tone, and I already replaced the battery (AAA rechargeable). Any chance to get it replaced for free? Or is it better if I just bought any other phone outside, and self-install the phone.

I called unifi for a complains, you know what ?
They are so unproffessional by Hanging up my call 4 times.
Transfer here and there 2 times.
Utilize my 1 hour for stupid phone call which doenst resolve my problem.
Human nature, avoid problems & complains.
And the end i say i want to speak to your supervisor, he say we dont have any supervisor in here.
WTF ! Dont bullshit me, call centre dont have supervisor ?
Thats what we call "customer service" !

Hi guys. I'm currently at VIP 10 package (upgraded from 5 last year), can I know the difference between this package and the 30 mpbs package besides the obvious download speed? I don't really need higher download speed, so is there any advantage to upgrading? (especially for online gaming)

Sometimes only dowbload. 4 users.
I heard last time the upload speed is worse in the 30 mbps package. Assymetrical speed and whatnot. Is this still the same? Upload speed will affect gaming or not?

How many pc can do streaming for 1080p movies on 30mbps.

If I want to terminate and reapply, do I just call tm and say I want to do those things and then they will come to change the equipment to the new ones? For example, they will change the dir-615 router to archer c5/dir850L?

when playing cs : go with 30mbps via wifi...my ping is stable around 40ms

anyone playing cs : go here ? mind sharing what's your usual ping ?
