It's just disconnection, streaming was smooth. First time happening though since April 2014. Usually it will only disconnect when I manually disconnect it.
Err... I never had this issue since I first used UniFi in April 2014, stable all the way and no disconnection unless I manually disconnect it. Only these two days not sure what happened, let's see for today.
I'm very happy with UniFi by the way. smile.gif
I have no issue with streaming, smooth all the way just that it suddenly disconnects. Not sure why. Will monitor today and if it still happens (touch wood), I will call TM.

Have you check if it's the router that's playing you? I have this issue previously and it was the router's fault.

I'm using Huawei WS880 and "Internet" wording disappears on the router.. I had to restart my BTU, then it works again. Not sure how to diagnose. rclxub.gif
*
Best way to diagnose is you've got an extra router that you can check with.

One downside of termination is that you have to get a new phone number. However, your UniFi account will still point to the old number in their database. This is what happened to me when I switch from Biz plan to VIP some time ago. Till today they still reference through the old number.

There are already insider news TM will be coming up with another new package (200Mbps to 500Mbps) in the near future to support the speed upgrade for these users. It doesn't cost them much since it is unlikely all of the "Pro" users will be online at the same time and utilizing 100% of their speed.

Can you fully utilize 500mbps for home users daily? Think if are download freak for more than 100gb a day than is worth it.
*
100GB no need 500Mbps, 50Mbps also more than enough. biggrin.gif
Theoretically, 50Mbps connection can download 21GB/hour.

I am wondering home users with 500Mbps what do they do? Ppl say 500Mbps is never overkilled but can u fully utilized it. Im using 30Mbps also cannot fully utilized it everday.

Unifi have to make the price for future 200-500Mbps cheap if they want ppl to subscribe it.
*
Yeah to be honest I've been to many friend's house in Singapore. They didn't even know they are using only 50 - 75 Mbps connection when their package is 1Gbps. To them it doesn't make a difference as long as streaming works.

Well I'm not too hopeful on getting the upgrade soo. - when I wanted to upgrade to 100mb previously I was told no port available. Not sure if this rollout will change things but I'm expecting delay either way!
*
Hmm? So 50Mbps and 100Mbps different port or 100Mbps is just 50x2?

I posted here before and the TM site says my area is not supported. Thought I give up hope on the free upgrade but a forumer here messaged me and ask for some details. He checked in the system and confirmed that my area is supported.

The site is outdated.

If its true that there will be a 200M package, it could be at the same price as current 100M RM329. Because it looks like a fair progression:
RM179 = 50M
RM229 = 100M
RM329 = 200M

If its true only 100M users get the thank you surprise mentioned, ie HyppTV etc, maybe its until 200M is ready later this year then only will get free upgrade? Maybe thats why they say HyppTV free for 1 year. Otherwise, what happens after that?

I just guessing only...

Conventional logical marketing does not apply to TM. Based on past experience they are known for screwing up their loyal customers who paid far more and get more or less the same as the cheaper guy next door.

100 "Pro" users will not be the first and certainly won't be the last. This is also the reason why I've decided not to upgrade to 100Mbps.

Can terminate and reapply at the same day? Last time I remember when I try to terminate there's a 30 days cool period. Not sure about now.

Technical test? Meaning whether our current router can handle 100mbps?
Mine now is Dlink DIR 850L, I thought it can handle 100mbps. Any other router used for 50mbps?
*
Should be able to handle the speed.
But make sure most devices at home can support 5Ghz else no point using this router compared to the standard routers on the market today.

which statement do TM promise the page up on 16th?
*
I believe it was on the new registration speed upgrade promo FAQ. Check it out.
