I have coincidently read one of your previous post on other thread that you didn't face colour casting issue from your side from Cokin filter, but not for other user. am I right? Does cokin filter involves different performance across the manufacturing batches or improvisation revision done by them?
So cokin P series (slim version) is applicable on Tokina 11-16 down to 12mm? How about the normal version with multiple slot? Slim version is the single slot right?
Will Z series overcome this issue down to widest 11mm on DX DSLR?
I think the newer cokin filter shouldn't have the color cast anymore. I bought mine at adorama
Only use the slim version (single slot) for Tokina 11-16, the normal version is not usable. Also i never use 2 filter together, so the single slot is enough.
Z series is bigger and won't have issue on 11mm.. but means the filter is also more expensive.
But if you ask me now, I will recommend HiTech filter over Cokin. The quality is better. Cokin is more plasticky. Hitech is also cheaper than Lee or Singh Ray.
You can have a look at my Europe pics

Cokin is a very good beginner kit if price is your concern
