QUOTE(KoYuKii @ Mar 28 2017, 09:37 PM)
Which rangeman will be ur daily watch? Do u think that the camo green is a good choices?
*
I used my GW-9400BJ black panther as daily most of the time, or the basic GW-9400J smile.gif

QUOTE(DesktopLimousine @ Mar 29 2017, 01:42 AM)
But the "G" logo will disappear after the watch loses MB6 signal. Ive tried using the jjy sim, but then the next day the G dissappear
*
Yea, because the sync will auto run every night so the G logo will disappear after that time or when you adjusted the time manually..

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 29 2017, 03:16 PM)
finally molested the gsteel tough leather... one big dissapointment.
looks so nice in pics, but real life looks like shit.
i thought it'll be like pu leather... but its like they printed leather texture over some other synthetic material.
not surprisingly the one that so far sold at g-factory is the new bracelet version...GSTS130BD-1A.

so nm la, now I save rm1.4k tongue.gif

jun_ng_1208 btw u said sng wng retail rm1499?
g-factory is rm1449...
u saw wrong or sng wng mark up?
*
Probably i saw wrongly la, wasn't really paying attention that time sweat.gif

Complete rainbow collection, now flip it for those diehard collectors! Or are you one of them?
*
I won't call myself a diehard collector but I do like the Rangeman a lot smile.gif

Dont like Frogman and Mudman?
*
Frogman is too expensive, Mudman not really interested tongue.gif

QUOTE(radi0head @ Apr 11 2017, 08:19 PM)
Seeing all the same module... wonder which would be your favorite piece ?    hmm.gif
*
I wear the GW-9400BJ (Black Panther) the most, but my favorite piece will be the GW-9400KJ (2014 Grey Earth Watch) due to the color combination and the fact that I really love grey color laugh.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 15 2017, 10:24 AM)
i feel like getting a GA-700 now, cos playing with it i realised it also has a one-press to stopwatch function...similar to the rangeman.
can also long press the mode button, in any other mode apart from time, to return direct to time mode...something not often seen in low end models.
*
Both function also available on the Rangeman isn't it tongue.gif but I think the GA-700 is too huge and I don't fancy how it looks laugh.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 16 2017, 05:41 PM)
cheaper watch piece to abuse more.
GA-700 on wrist feels like rangeman only...stated case size specs also almost similar.
just the design and more dial of GA-700 makes it look bigger.
*
Just that I don't really fancy how the GA-700 looks smile.gif just my personal taste biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 18 2017, 03:39 PM)
no diff... just someone go create the other side also...
both sections also correct... tho i feel should go style better since other watch threads are there.
can always be merged anyway... see which side prefer.
*
I think it's good to just merge it since it's kinda quiet here in this section as well so maybe can create more responses over at the men's style sub forum biggrin.gif

Hi, All G Shock Sifu

Please enlighten me, I saw a lot of people selling frogman with jelly case in mudah.my.

Are they original? Does Casio produce jelly case frogman? some were selling real cheap at RM300++

Thanks you!
*
The price alone will be a big hint that they are not authentic, if you apply a little bit of common sense then you'll probably be able to answer your own question thumbup.gif

so yea, i just got a GA-700 a couple days ago...
why red? probably cos i got enough black, and i dont like blue or white tongue.gif

anyway, its marginally bigger than a rangeman...i have to wear it 1 notch looser on the GA-700...small difference seeing as 90% of G's out there are big anyway.
it has the typical one-press to stopwatch function as on the rangeman...with the light button also at the bottom.
a long press of the mode button in any other mode except for time-keeping, brings it back to the main screen.
and should the LCD be blocked by the hands, they can be moved out of the way just by pressing the light + mode buttons.
i believe the new GA-500 also has the same functions...so looks like Casio are slowly upgrading the GA modules.
user posted image
LED is quite bright, but not as bright as the G-Steel.
tho there is just enough light reflecting off to actually read the LCD in the dark...tho i dunno why u would want to.
user posted image
typical plastic buckle...its not bad...but one good thing is it doesnt jingle like steel buckles do.
the GA-700 strap has the same width as the rangeman, but it also has wider tangs...
so no...the rangeman buckle will not fit tongue.gif

Awesome review bro thumbup.gif how much was the damage? I think Marco lowered the price for some of their models, I notice the GX-56BB is now back at RM 769 instead of RM 819 few months ago lol.gif

RM350... decent for the features that trickled down from higher end Gs.
g-people sell slightly cheaper, but i lazy wait for pos etc.

GX56bb is gg tongue.gif
*
I saw GX-56BB sellng for RM 590 brand new in FB group LOL GA-700 for 350 is cheap leh thumbup.gif

QUOTE(idioticppl @ Apr 27 2017, 01:43 PM)
Yes the price is indicative of it's authenticity. But my questions still stands, does casio produce jelly case frogman, if not, then I assume people just produce their own jelly case and swap in their modules (be it original modules or not)? I do admit some of those jelly case are pretty!
*
For the Frogman that you're referring (GWF-1000) there is only 1 jelly case ever produced by Casio so far which is the GWF-1000TM (Takashi Murakami) version smile.gif all others are custom made parts wink.gif

Oic thx  laugh.gif  btw i got quoted from 2 shop
Both wanna charge me RM35. Its reasonable price right? since it use 2 x SR927W battery  sweat.gif
At first plan to wanna change it myself but hard to find that battery model + need to find silicone grease. (actually i'm really love to diy)
I think better send to shop for peace of mind  laugh.gif
*
Not sure about the battery that you model uses but RM 35 sounds ok to me la biggrin.gif since the battery should be able to last a few years thumbup.gif

Sometimes I am grateful that I bought solar model G-Shock watches biggrin.gif

Hi all. New to this thread here and to watches.

I'm currently interesting to looking for a new G-Shock watch within a budget of RM400-RM800.

Do you reckon any good ones for this price range? Any recommendations, perhaps?
Wishlist: Black, both analog and digital, moderately sized.  smile.gif
*
That budget you can get the GA-700 smile.gif our bro Everdying loves his thumbup.gif I think it's only RM 3xx for grey import and RM 5xx from G-Factory ~

hai...anyone sell or mod BnB here? looking for DW6900, Rangeman n Frogman BnB....

Btw i just found Limited Edition DW6900 1997 WCCS Fox Fire Japan set while visiting japan last week.. New Old Set...its really rare to find in NOS condition  bruce.gif
*
I personally don't mod the band and bezel because I am a bit of a purist when it comes to G-Shock sweat.gif but I think there isn't much seller for bnb here, you may have better luck to find them in Facebook groups thumbup.gif
