if you need 24 frets.... then the RG is the only option (between the two of course)

but for tuning stability.... the Edge can't beat the ZR... so the S series would be the option. but you get only 22-frets.

p/s: i wish Ibanez would implement ZR in the RG series in the future. quite amazed when seeing Herman Li doing his thing with his S

To Snipe_EX`, i'm not sure if this is covered in this thread already .... but you need to know what kind of music you're going to play with those 2 guitars. Most guitars can play different kind of music ..... but picking the wrong guitar will make you sound "Weird"

Example:

Say you're looking for a nice casual shoes from say Nike. Go into the Nike store and you'll see many types of shoes, outdoor shoes, jogging shoes, walking shoes, running shoes, rock-climbing shoes. There are all shoes which you can wear and walk around ..... but wearing a jogging shoes on a formal dress code night ? ..... "Weird"

Actually, the wholle running shoes with formal dressing is cool!

haha... to be honest i'm confused now. wheteher to buy now, save up some more money for a prestige or just upgrade my bloody tele. this is soooo confusing.


ps* looking at how herman do his (i dont know what but you know what i mean) upthrowing his guitar really give out ZR good points

Oh, you mean the Whammy lift..... super cool move.
FYI.... Herman's S Prestige (He uses the regular S sometimes too) is straight off the factory..... the only modification he does are adding DiMarzio Evolution pickups. That's it. The rest, including the FR, are all Factory standard
