Yes, two times at petronas yesterday. I saw the terminal shown error 91. But it shows success in my Samsung pay. Can only check from m2u after 2 days.

I had this happened in family mart @ velocity mall last Sat. I just checked my m2u. They credited the amount and then debited back the same amount in the same day.

Just to share, most of the petronas attempts failed me today. I think only 1 out of 10 attempts get success cross 3 days.

I went to caltex instead, they supported pay wave, hence first attempt using spay gone through with no issue.

Will check out at petron next time.

Fyi, the pump terminal at caltex supported paywave! Actually there is a label of paywave and a label of phone is prohibited side by side at the pump terminal. Ha. Not sure if we are suppose to wave there lo...

i dont rmb if caltex taman mas kinrara got request. but i pump rm30.

to encourage for cash payment, so they will have reduce the amount charges.
incase big spender then you may use your card.
usually will impose by the shop owner.

My best experience using samsung pay everyday is in mc d. No question asked, no error, no min purchase. The lowest is only rm1 per transaction. Sometime i offer my colleagues free sundae cone ice cream. Lol.

My other samsung pay experience:

Guardian : rm1 mineral water, 2 times suceed without question, 1 time the staff say min purchase rm10

Watson : 2 times without failed, 1st buying earbud rm1.80 another time buying few grooming stuff rm30

Family mart : many times, no question asked, just that sometime they say offline and twice it shows do not honour yesterday

Petronas : one time only and it failed, the staff has no idea how to operate samsung pay

Others like starbucks, coffee bean, caffe bene, juice works, popular book store all smooth without error/problem by the staff.

I only visited twice. Once was rm1.80 earbud, the cashier did not say anything, succeed to pay. Another purchase was rm30 over, also succeed without problem. So I'm not sure about the min purchase requirement. I think it is subject to the cashier himself/herself.

Oh ya, as for popular, i usually buy book which over rm20 everytime so i can not tell if it has any min purchase requirement.

This is very useful. If any cashier telling me a min purchase amount is required to use spay/pay wave, I'll show this in their faces.

Btw yesterday i went shopping in parkson velocity mall, the cashier has no idea what is spay, then i told her pay wave and its done.
