Paid afew times in padini using samsung pay. No issues. Always ask for paywave first.

i believed this is meant for the physical card? Phone usage beside the pump is extremely dangerous. Endangering other ppl lives as well. To open spay, u somehow have to unlock your phone and launch spay. Better to go inside counter and use spay

Paywave is basically NFC. Whether you use card or Spay phone, its not your card or phone that makes the verification. Its the petrol station terminal that does the job.

You have to power up your phone to enable the spay. Spay is lovked with either iris or password. Spay doesn't work when your phone is in stanby mode. Power up the phone by the pump already risk lives. Lol.

Ok. Go use your phone. Do you evee wonder why there is no handphone sign near the pump? You and s your discovery. There will no such sign already if there is no risk.

Ps: better to use the spay in the counter rathwr than pump for the sake of other people's lives if you dont care of your own.

not that im encouraging you to use your phone while fueling up, im replying to what causes the spark in the first place. gas vapor from your car tank will get ignite, not the petrol pump itself.

I always placed it inside the car. Anyways,why want to increase the risk of catching fire? The rules clearly stated that no usage of phone beside pump. Unless you can activate the spay without even wake your phone from standby mode.
I just cant stand these ignorant people using phone at yhe pumo area as i have witnessed an explosion at station myself.

Is it so hard for you to walk in into the counter and wave?
There is a sign clearly stated that no phone usage in the vicinity of the pump area. If its not dangerous, the sign wont even exist there.
