Hi, I have some doubt bout Windows Vista delivery date.. As stated they say Vista will ship out after release but till now i still didn get my Vista.

Shipping cost me USD21.21 but they still didn charge my credit card..

After i check it just now.. the delivery date still left empty.. anyone here order for free upgrade and already receive your copy of Vista?

Cheers and really hope someone here could share with me why take soo long for them to sent me the Vista CD ;(

But i get directed to Upgrade Website from Lenovo main webpage.. I already order it month ago, i think if they want to use my card.. they already do so soon after i enter everything in the upgrade website.. anyway thanks evilpuppy for remind me that.

As i read on the upgrade website we'll get it from Microsoft Singapore.. Even if they use snailmail and charge for airmail, still i think it already reach le.. snailmail take like 4-7days for the mail to reach.. Me just live beside Singapore.. i can walk there... or even swim there.. if it take awhile for the process to be done.. i submit my order month ago le

I buy books from State Ebay, i receive my parcel not more then 10days by USPS (United States Postal Service) normal airmail and cost me only USD15+ for 3 heavy thick books and its all the way from States.. not singapore..

Really hope can hear someone already get this free Upgrade and can learn something from him/her regarding the delivery system...

Prophecus, As stated by Moduslink u'll need to sent them ur POP, after u sent them they will take like 7-10 days to validate your POP and COA number after they validate.. u'll on the waiting list like some of us here.. Hope to hear good news from you soon

I think maybe M$ want test how much patience we can endure, 2-8 week i think i wait far longer then the date stated by them liao

Nvmlah since alot software and hardware drivers not stable yet.. wait, wait and wait lah.. Free stuff like this 1 lah

Vergas, welcome to the waiting list Hope to hear from u when u get your Vista CD. Btw i register 2 set, 1 set on november 06 another 1 on January 07.. both also no delivery date yet

The due date only apply for new order, and the due date is the last date you purchase your new system that can get free Vista upgrade.
Once u order on website with your detail the website will show your order have been confirm.
After that u'll receive email that request you to sent your POP and COA number to them.

After u order online you'll see your
Order Status : Confirm

and after you sent them your POP and COA your status will be
Order Status : POP/COA validated

ps.the due date is last date for you to purchase your new system that entitle you for a free Vista upgrade. (They will check your POP purchasing date)

Finally see some change on my Order Status!

and today..
5th:Order is approved

Email them? I think by fax or snailmail is better.. But u can wait few more days if your status still same i suggest u to fax/snailmail them your POP.. but if your status show POP verified then they already receive your POP

I order 2 set Vista Business.. 1 set cost me 12.00 usd and another 1 cost me 21.21 usd.. both from different manufacturer..

I think different brand cost different in their shipping and handling

Yes and no

If we type in the xp cd keys into the Vista and upgrade it the XP cd keys will be invalid in future install..
but if we left the keys blank we'll have 2 original OS i read this somewhere when i googling..

From the website i read, The Vista have diff key.. before u install, u just left the old key (XP keys) blank and click 30days trail. Then after install they only key in the Vista cd keys..

I cant confirm this yet.. hope accs can give us more detail after he install.. and after i get my Vista i'll post it here how to activate Vista without sacrifice XP keys and how to kill old XP cd keys at the same time
