Some game changing moments that could've swung city's way but didn't.
1. (agent) de bruyne's horrible miss. 2. Moses immaculate tackle on aguero, from a brilliant de bruyne cross. (my brain was already visualising a bulging net,the cross was that good but the block / tackle matched it) 3. Bad mistake / misjudgement from cahill which presented aguero with a free shot at goal, with courtois completely out of position. (again,my brain was already processing the goal but it never came) 4. That sly nudge from luiz which caused aguero to 'lose his balance' and the ref decided it wasn't enough to warrant any sort of action, deeming it as a normal coming together. All in all it was mixture of luck, great defending and a fantastic belief in our ability. Special mention has to go to tibo, kept us in the game with some fantastic keeping. Love that save from de bruyne's low shot. He's looking really solid after that run of cleansheets, seems to have rediscovered his form. P.s: despite that miss,KDB was an absolute monster. We couldn't cope with his movement or deliveries. Haih yea yea I know we all miss him. |

West brom look like a really disciplined side. We need a moment of magic from one of our players. Need to cut out that indecisiveness at the back and in midfield as well..

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Dec 11 2016, 09:52 PM) fuuh this gotta be the toughest win so far in our current winning streak. we nearly lost our momentum if the game ended up with a draw. sublime finish by costa. QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Dec 11 2016, 09:54 PM) Hard fought win. Thought going to be walk in park, manatau wba bring their double decker bus pulak. It really was setup to be a classic banana skin to drop points. But credit to the team for rediscovering their defensive concentration in the second half, and kudos to diego's tenacity for disposessing mc auley (I think),with a brilliant finish to boot. Still top of the league. COYB. I'm not sure u can praise cesc for an assist, diego earned that goal imo. In fact,he was quite poor with his some of his touches in our half, gave the ball away in dangerous areas unnecessarily |

That save from tibo was worth six points. Kept us in the lead today and played a major part with 2 world class stops. Long may it continue.
Agree with the observations on willian,he needs to do so much more. More game time will definitely help with that, but that lack of decisiveness and poor short passing (I think costa was extremely annoyed but chose not to show it too much) are two things he needs to address. Let's see if conte gives him another chance vs palace. I have a feeling this will be the match that costa gets his 5th yellow as well. Just a feeling |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Dec 18 2016, 01:30 PM) nahh, not yet on the same level as Drogba but he is getting there..he is starting to influence big games. Can't deny he's getting real close though. Both him and didier are definitely big game players, but the drog always had that moment of magic in him where he towers over 2 centrebacks and plants a perfect header into the top corner, holds off a defender, turns and smashes one in,etc. You always had that feeling he can win you a match with a moment of brilliance. Costa is not quite there yet,but he's not far off. Some of his assists for example have been awesome. That low cross for moses which turned out to be the winner vs spurs comes to mind We only bounced back once so far after we lost to Arsenal. If we lose another game and we come back stronger then I will feel that we will be in a good position to go for the title. That's a good indicator to go by imo, this team needs to be tested with another bad result or two (yes I'm hoping that day will never come, but still Note: if we're onboard the transfer hype train already,I too vote that we annoy arsenal with a huge bid for sanchez! |

All the best to oscar. Will never forget his electrifying debut vs juve, and that wonderful understanding with Mata and hazard when they were playing together. It's an offer which can't be refused by both club and player,so it's perfectly understandable now that conte even rates nate higher than him.
It's building up to be an exciting and hopefully fruitful transfer window in january |

Game day!
An early goal would settle the nerves but I think what's more important is not conceding first either. Spurs will definitely have a go at us,that 2-2 draw which left their title charge in tatters is going to fuel their 'anger' so to speak. That will definitely work in our favour, hence I'm going for that extra security of kante and matic in the middle. |

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ Jan 4 2017, 08:44 PM) Possible. Let's see what pochetino dishes out. Whatever it is,conte will have the boys well drilled. Damn the match is like 3 hours away, but the nerves are real. After arsenal and pool dropped points, it suddenly becomes a 'must win' game |
