What's wrong with this ref..damn it. Everything's going spurs way. Well now rose has injured himself. Shows you how much force he put into trying to tackle moses!

Where was the marking there...haih. Disappointing. We needed to concentrate there. Utterly disappointing.

I think we need to go for it in the second half. Can't believe how we failed to get in level at the break. Just missing that cutting edge. Costa and hazard have to do much much more, they're not having enough of an impact upfront.

Just a lapse of concentration imho. Spurs haven't been that good. It's quite level all over the park. City were the ones who really gave us the runaround at the Etihad.

Heh. I think the run is coming to an end guys. That's okay. But our defending has been pathetic when it comes to marking alli.

Agreed the officiating has been extremely lopsided. Borderline shocking actually. Not a good way to have our run ended. Haih.

Good to know there's still a significant gap. Huhu. Now we need some extra training sessions at the back. Don't understand how we managed to leave alli unmarked for both goals.
Atkinson again. Getting sick of the sight of him. |

Good to see cesc, but it's a bit late. A consolation goal would be nice now.

Aahh just realised our next game is away vs leicester. That's another huge test. Looking forward to it though, gotta see how we respond. |

Commentator foaming at the mouth at the prospect of a spurs win. Heh. I don't think they've been that impressive.

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ Jan 5 2017, 05:46 AM) It sure did. I think our attack needs a lot of work as well. We just didn't trouble their backline enough, hazard shouldn't have finished the game, didn't really do anything of note. Wouldn't mind cesc back in vs leicester, kante had an awful game today, messed up some really simple passes. I guess the only positive is we didn't get embarrassed by a 4, 5 nil scoreline in the end. Spurs were average apart from those two unmarked goals. Good deliveries from erikson though. |

Perhaps the most damning stat is our zero shots on target today? We looked really rushed in attack, but hazard was the last player I expected to completely 'disappear.' that open header from alonso's delivery was inexcusable. Someone like alexis sanchez would've flung himself at that, and get us back into the game.
And I know it's much easier to say this now that the game's over, but maybe our two form players which were fab and willian shouldn't have been dropped. 2 assists and 2 goals from either of them vs stoke, then immediately being omitted for this huge game is pretty harsh. |
