It sure did. I think our attack needs a lot of work as well. We just didn't trouble their backline enough,hazard shouldn't have finished the game, didn't really do anything of note. Wouldn't mind cesc back in vs leicester,kante had an awful game today,messed up some really simple passes.

I guess the only positive is we didn't get embarrassed by a 4, 5 nil scoreline in the end. Spurs were average apart from those two unmarked goals. Good deliveries from erikson though.

Perhaps the most damning stat is our zero shots on target today? We looked really rushed in attack,but hazard was the last player I expected to completely 'disappear.' that open header from alonso's delivery was inexcusable. Someone like alexis sanchez would've flung himself at that,and get us back into the game.

And I know it's much easier to say this now that the game's over,but maybe our two form players which were fab and willian shouldn't have been dropped. 2 assists and 2 goals from either of them vs stoke,then immediately being omitted for this huge game is pretty harsh.
