May i know is there possible to upgrade RAM for Sony laptop??

hi again... i bought this VAIO CR35G from Best Denki which i would like to ask that the extended warranty they offered is 4 years.. Is this warranty covers full coverage and when there is a problem then where shud i go to?? Sony?? or Denki??

i found out another problem that the battery could only sustain for max 2.5 hours only... is there a problem with my notebook?? if watch on video more fast the battery finish.. help..

Another issue here i need to brought up here is that i found out that a few times my window vista premium it alway not responding when i try to open some folder... especially when jz on my pc.. so is my pc abnormal??

Hi to all lappies owner.. THis is a kindly message which i would like to share to this forum... There are 2 indians robbers circulating in the areas of PJ which they are targeting notebooks..

Here is the story..
A friend of mine who used to drive and usually he will bring his lappie to Uni.. yesterday, something really bad happen to him.. There is 2 indian guys riding in a motorbyte and they notice that the laptop in my friend passenger side carpet which my friend which he used something to cover it as to hide the laptop..
But unfortunely, i think the 2 indian guys spotted the laptop and follow my friend back to the place where my friend stay.. when my friend's car about to stop at his house.. The 2 indian guys used helmet to break the glass ( because the door had close) and then futhermore open the door and start grabbing the notebook bag plus the wallet which in the hand brake area.. My friend was in a shock and that time which unable to do anything towards saving his beloved lappies..

So i would strongly recommends that
DONT EVER PUT UR NOTEBOOK IN THE PASSENGER SIDE EVEN ON THE CARPET (because somehow i dont know how on earth the robbers still can see it)
PUT IT IN THE BOOT.. [for more safety reasons]
KEEP AN EYE ON ANYBODY WHO FOLLOWING YOU TO THE PLACE U WANT TO GO..

is it possible to upgrade to 4gb.. cos currently i m still using 2gb.. and might wan a upgrade.. and will the upgrade void my warranty??

regarding to ur matters.. i m using CR35 too and i found out that the volume that projected was not loud either..
so i guess is normal.. i think u might need to get external voofer jz like wat i did.. and i personally recommend u the edifier MP300 cos iof the portability and the sound quality was great.. It will solve ur problem..

To ah Wai, i am using CR35G too, by the way, i jz wanted to ask u something, did you encounter the slight electric shock on the steel bar on the bottom of the keyboard.

cos i been having this problem and is getting more and more serious.
If you got the same problem how you tackle the problem??

(I had consulted the so called sony centre near my place and the stupid guy inside the shop told me that the problem cannot be solve,
and he was so unhelpful and he don't know anything but act like he knew it )

To anyone out there, who know how to solve this problem pls help..

I will take my notebook to midvalley i think within this weekend if i free..
cos i encounter the same problem too.. let see what the service guy will have to do with the problem there..
but temporary i use transparent tape to tape that particular place..
it does works.. i did not have the electric shock on my hand ady..
if u doe not mind temporary you can do as i did..

erm.. i got blue screen too jz now with my CR35g, is it really the ram problem?? cos i guess it would be the software problem cos the window recovery alw pop up after it restart..

hey guys would like to ask some questions regarding my CR35G unit.
My currently ram was 2GB.. Can i upgrade it to 4GB instead?? which brand to recommend and where can i get it?? Thanks
