haha i duno they can or not, but indeed they are offering when u buy it. Sometimes is so called "free" extended warranty, sometimes need buy.

Hey guys... our thread too quiet.... And seems like VAIO got bad reputation in KL coz of some irresponsible sales in TS....

ya, frankly for me so far i very happy for my VAIO, works perfectly for me. So anyone of ppl out there wanna get VAIO then should beware of those idiot salesman and check carefully when the time get the VAIO.

I check my VAIO for almost 1 hour ( i also ask them burn a copy of recovery DVD for me front of me, this way can make sure the writer and the recovery utility is works fine also, it's important!) jux to make sure everything works no problems, although the sales seems like got bit not happy wif me, but who care? I pay the $$ of coz i need check through make sure what i get is rili the one i looking for.

So guys, dun let some idiot salesman just keep thinkin to earn fast $$ influence you, make your own decision.

Think all the forumers wont go to TS sony store oredi, haha..

guys.. i havin trouble for express upgrade process for my vaio at sony website..... then sent email to them.. they ask me try re-entry.... but stil cant...... anyone can help?!!

the window vista 1...... after i make couples of calls n send some emails.. get some feedback.... finally i know what is the reason, anyway, here to say that thanks Mr Ong from Sony Malaysia for the assistance...

Twin_sparx, i not sure about that but from some article n info i get from net stated the "express upgrade vista" version may havin more works to do when wan reformat... they said that u need format usin xp 1st then only use the express vista took from Sony to install vista..... i also not sure about this... will take some time confirm it once i free... recently quite bz coz jux start work at new company... need pick up things...

u didnt state clear about the series of vaio u using, not much ppl can help u man... but i think ur series is VGN-C25G rite?

hi, guys.... long time didnt post msg at here.. wakakakaka receive my window vista business DVD last month, but didnt install it, coz still need my lappie to do work... you guys anyone oredi install vista?? those drivers works fine???

I think so far Sony only offer 1 year warranty, and optional upgrade to international 1 year. u can try ask ask those staff of Sony outlet also... hehe

Jagadis, in malaysia cheapest vaio will be Vaio C series..if compare the spec to other brand such as HP, Asus, Dell... of coz.. Vaio is exp and not rili worth in terms of spec with the price... But different people got different requirements. But Vaio also got the model come with rili gd spec... for example the 1 i using , but now they come out new model to replace oredi which is Vaio FZ.

In Singapore sony, they got selling another model, which is Vaio N that is 15.4", with SG $ 1,799. u can go Vaio sg website have a look
