I'm getting a little confused here. Is the soon to be released SR series meant to replace the SZ series? Which is suppose to be the higher end?

Vaio SR you mean. Just played with it just now. Pretty screen and not really heavy. It's something I don't mind carrying around

Finally! HDMI is pretty important but getting the Z series just for that port is pretty high for me. Any changes besides that?

Ah. Ok good. The only lacking feature is the port after all. In any case, Sony is wise enough to start selling it by Christmas I believe.
