recently i bought this external hdd to use with my ps4,

tried it yesterday, but the ps4 is not reading it. connected the thing directly to the ps4, and the hdd just blinks, and nothing.

am i doing something wrong? or is the hdd not supported?

Go to the setting. I believe u need to format it first

did that, formatted to exfat, hooked it to the ps4, still nothing.

cant even do it on the ps4, went to settings, device, it says "the device is not connected"

At last, after waiting for over 3 months, i've received my pro. Well, rather collected it myself at gdex since they close tomorrow.

So, what now? What's need to be done after i've finished setup the pro to my tv? I have an 8mbps streamyx connection but yet to connect to it since my modem fried by lightning a week ago.

Read somewhere that pro owner need to register online to enjoy extra 3 months of warranty aside from the standard 12 months. Where do i need to sign up?

Yayy finally my pre-order PS4 Pro was arrived after order 10 days ago from Alfa Game Centre (FB Alfa Game Centre). Reason I bought from this shop because its was authorized playstation reseller, got extra 3 month warranty and RM100 shop voucher
BTW who have try the Sony Gold Wireless headset? Isn't good for listening music too?

Hmm, u mean ur PS4 cannot detect the HDD at all? I suspect it could be the USB cable not 3.0

If not the case, I guess u just have to trial and error...

Try other usb ports. Try format to other format b4 pluggin to the ps4

Can choose to sell the TV or monitor next time. Can also buy 2nd hand cheap cheap option. Haha. Still cheaper (and bigger screen) than the portable one.

Also, you may want to look into Remote Play on your laptop. Don't know if that's stilla thing. Good luck! =)
