Just googled your bike.
If you wanna save some money and get the perks of a 11T gear, can get this:
http://harriscyclery.net/product/shimano-h...fw4300-qc49.htmYou're running these wheels currently?
Formula FM21 front hub, Formula FM31 rear hub; Bontrager 550 36-hole rims
Ok, did some googling for ya and this is what I found: A 7speed hub will be able to accept 9speed or 10speed cassette with some mods done.

Added on April 25, 2011, 3:08 pmJust so we're on the same page, here's your previous question and details:
Your bike is 7speed and u wanna change to a 9speed or 10speed groupset. And you wanna do it cheap, right?
Your wheelset, which is a 7speed wheelset, can't fit 9 or 10speed cassette.
1. So you can try the DIY method I mentioned above
2. Get a new/used wheelset with 9 or 10speed capable hub. If you want to maintain your current vbrakes, just find a new/used wheelset that has vbrake rims.
3. You can just get a rear hub that's capable of 9 or 10speed cassette and relace your existing rear wheel at the bike shop of your choice.
4. Sell the bike and get a 10speed bike.
So 4 possible ways to achieve what you want. Choose your own poison.

Isk.. Sorry. I replied using IPhone earlier.
Thanks Kaizer. I'm thinking of getting the hub + 10 speed cassette + rims + disc brakes. The Deore XT can wait because want to see if the Deore XT really coming out in July.
