hmm, the scott one look nice but i like the carraro's geometry, the top of the frame is horizontally straight, not curving downwards..
anyways where can get best price for cr1 comp? sounds like a good offer biggrin.gif

interesting, what kind of geometry to look for...
dont really know bout road bikes enough to speak bout it yet. but those who knows can share abit so we can learn.

it won't break under normal duress... i don't think anyone managed to break a carbon frame while riding... discount the manufacturer defects.. but there is no known instances where someone broke their frame just by riding it hard...

crashing on the other hand.. is another story by itself.. high chances if not most probably... crashing even though with no visible damage could have caused internal cracks which is why carbon is a bit scary..

the lousiest carbon failure i heard before came from a handlebar that turned and smack onto the top tube causing a crack on it...

apart from the fact we can't live without brakes.. it is without doubt that mashin is a cool thing nowadays...

there are fair amount of people cracks or chip their frame on flying debris while riding... especially with lots of debris on some of our road + high speed riding... thats trouble
just pure bad luck... but that is a fact that this could happen...

if you like carbon, then should prepare for those days.. there is pros and cons to each different materials

just came back from rodalink bangsar. the fellow asked me whether i want to patch or replace with a new tube. (the tube got hole) i asked for a new tube. he told me only got the rm35 one the rm16 no more stock. so i said patch. he said ok and patched it for me for rm9.

Came back home, havent even put it on the bike. the tire no more air again.

try buy some spare tubes yourself... its RM12-15 each for maxis or conti one.
learn to change tubes urself... sooner or later u gotta diy tubes when puncture out of no where.

very basic skill that every cyclist must know!!
