i think so. as long as it's 'Freedom' R1 or R3 is fine. But i've heard ppl using 'Portable' R2 that can join R1 and R3, not too sure tho

hmm..means 2 PSP can connect to 1 kai software and hunt together even tho they're diffrent versions? wont that need 2 wifi doogle?

should be like that... coz i've found 1 kai ID but in mhf, 2 char with different name.

Muahahaha, i just got some hint yesterday night after i failed to defend the fort from Lao-Shan (HR2 to HR3 Quest)
The hint should be bring along Powertalon & Powercharm.
It will increase ur attack power.

Powercharm = Atk.UP +23 = $36000
Powertalon = Atk.UP +49 = Powercharm + Sm Lao-Shan Claw

U can bring along both of them everytime for quest.
It takes only 2 space of item inventory.

It's not like potion that u can drink.
It's like a necklace that u wear along with ur armor..

Not only that, u could also bring along ArmorTalon & ArmorCharm for xtra defend.
Make sure u hav enough item space coz it take 1 item space for each of them.

Normally i only focus on attack power to kill those wyvern fast..

errrm...then how u know they both at the same place using 1 wifi doogle and 1 kai interface?

actually if u do the elder lao no need those things. Bring 3 lg barrel bombs, 10 sm barrel bombs, 10 large barrel, 10 gun powder. bomb the gaint lizard every now and then. then when u use a GS, go under his head and do the O + ^ combo. no the upper slash...press ^ then O, ^ then O...because the ^ attack lets ur char move 2 steps ahead and the O attack lets the combo move on afst enough....just hit non stop. if u aim right u can just hit the lao like that without your self needing to move...

I forgot to tell u that the Lao-Shan in Elder & Guild is different..
Elder Lao is very easy but hard for the HR2-HR3 Guild Lao..
I've never fail to defend the fort before except last night..

I suppose that i could get to HR3 by tonight with my own

i dun think its posible to KILL the guild lao on ur own. only can repel it. i think u can do it with a DS...

I also think like that..
Maybe i could only repel it then step to HR3 with my GS..
At this moment, i only hav Oblivian for dragon..

I think i would upgrade to Keiser Sword from Oblivian..
That if i still fail to defend the fort in HR2-HR3 quest..

wahhahahaha...get kai lar....lol...i dun even have a dragon element weapon yet...lol...

1 private arena, 2 people(me and A). In GH, 3 names including me and i remember A did tell me B is his friend via kai chat msg.

i think shiney also use 2 psp 1 kai yesterday. Try ask him..


p/s: sry, i dont know how to explains well in english...

All lao shans is killable...

DS is perfect for this job. Aim for the stomach. he will die once he reach area 5. Just must sure u bring along plenty of whetstones.

Powercharm/Talons n Armour Charm/talons add to your total attack/def when u have it in your inventory, sorta like your combo books.

I would say its an advantage to have but not a necessity.
