Already climb genting for two times for the first month I get the car with 6 adults included driver, quite hard to climb since it is 1.5 when sitting more people. engine noise quite loud, otherwise the car won't move at all like that.
*
not moving at all? thats like quite bad right...

Anyone know what is the size of Cargo tray. I saw one at 11street. But I'm not sure is the correct one. Is there anyone can confirm for me is this one correct?

if you are from KL area, get it from setapak, UH Car accessories shop. RM 80. i think so far most affordable priced.

doubt how come others didnt have this issue, not to compare to sedan but avanza is far more better and very confident with uneven road or potholes.
*
hmm, u mentioned able to hear/feel the absorbers and dashboard while going over uneven roads/potholes? as in noise or rattling or just impact?
never drove an avanza before but comparing against vios and myvi, i guess its about same.
but again, suspension setup and tyres are different. imho from my driving experience, brv setup is a littler firmer but i like the stiffness though.
i do concur that NVH could do better then what honda said of improvements based on models from indo/thai.
probably cant feel the difference already with the amount of uneven roads and potholes i go thru everyday.lol

noise like local manufacturer car dashboard sound..afraid it will tanggal. Light uneven road still did the good job.
*
shouldnt be noisy or rattling, sounds like something is loose, clip or something.
just report it during 1k checkup or just walk in to check with honda. make them rectify it till you are satisfied.
u mean slightly uneven road is still ok?

1.Phone:
-Turn on Bluetooth
-Make it discoverable

2.Car Media:
-Select "Settings"
-Select either "Connect Phone" or "Audio"

It will scan and your phone should turn up... either on the phone or the car media you click to pair.

After that, should be ok.

Wind seal rubber noise - Rm300 (this one is must have for who cannot tahan the outside noise. After installing this thing, i must said the seal do a great job in reducing the outside noise. I estimate around 50% to 60% improvement compare to stock rubber)
*
When you say outside noise meaning traffic noise? is it value for money at RM300?

Fixed my air vent lever issue and tested for 2 weeks now it's perfect. Don't smell anything from traffic now even following buses or smoky lorries.
FYI, I got it fixed at Jalan Ipoh Honda service center.

was driving in the rain this past week and you know in KL flashfloods are so common. with the brv's higher ground clearance, it feels really good and confident haha. but after that have to do exercise by washing the car haha

Also, i started noticed my left leg almost touching the gear stick...
*
mine so far so good, going over potholes, bumps or lines no sounds from the plastics.
touching the gear stick? maybe i am of small stature but so far my driving position has been very comfortable.
maybe my expectations are very low too haha.

the weather lately has been so warm with strong sun.
driving around or getting into the car after parking in the open area is such a discomfort at times and with leather seats..
wanted to buy some windows shades to block off the sun for the passenger seats while driving and rear window while parking. i saw some like RM 90 on Lazada or car accessories shop. Are they ok?

Firstly, gave you tinted your car yet?

As for the shades, it doesn't help in keeping the heat away while parking but as for driving, it does while keeping the sun glare away too. So far I can only recommend the Groovy or the one sold by Honda.
*
Yea, its tinted but its the so called free tinting given by the SA which is very low quality.
Still figuring out if should replace the tint with a good one in the near future.
Yes, at least block the glare while driving. OK the groovy and honda ones are 250 above i searched.

Dear all BRV owner,

I owned my car 2weeks drive, would like to feed back some cons of the car, this is my personal experience may not happend on your car.

I pump 1st full tank RM82 RON 95 can drive around
410km with 2 adult and 2 child's mostly in town area
speed 60-70mph

1. I notice All safety belt are loose not tie and safety - important
What do you mean loose? Which part?

2. Headlamp adjusted lowers level but still high
So far ok

3. Rear door handler is hard to pull for open door
Heard users complaining but to me is alright.

4. Viper nuts no plastic cover

5. Front passenger seat very shaking- important
Mine is ok. Go report

6. Rpm meter not in zero while engine started and air-condition was off (may be the timing is high)
No engine will be showing RPM at idle even with air-conditioning switched off. Whats your RPM reading?

7. Notice heavy road sound
Very subjective for everyone. Yes it has road noise but acceptable to me as i am comparing to same range.

I don't have chance drive more than 100mph, not sure the stablelity how
Driven for road trips above 120 feels stable and passengers are comfortable

Will make a report on first service

Good day dear BRVians,
my SC called today, my car is ready next monday (hari raya car) so lucky since ive just booked it around end of May and the SC said before need to wait until August because the car is goreng pisang panas

Is there any issue i should aware when getting this car? Any tips or questions that i need to ask my SC during handover of this car
Thanks
*
congrats on getting the car soon. Basically you need to inspect the car yourself, exterior and interior for any defects the eye can see or you can feel.
I think you can read pass few pages and you should get a feel of what to look out for. The air vent issue is common, tight passenger back door handle, and etc.
Anyway when you collect the car, dont think they will fix for you unless is a glaring defect. They will ask you to send in on weekdays for technical fix, weekends are only for servicing.

That's why I opted to pay and get a discount on the good tint rather getting those cheaper/free tint that does very little to reject heat.

*
I could actually feel the difference between no tint and after installing the low quality tint by the SA.
It did made a difference at first, but during these hot months the difference will be telling because for the aircon to cool down the interior will take longer and can feel the rays of the sun easily.
I searched the thread and you are using Vkool Security tint at RM 1.9k discounted right.
Any other reviews from members here? anyone bought from HM 3M/Ecotint ?
gotta ring up the SA and see if they can offer me something.

Indeed. Previously didn't use any tint on my City and it was very hot and takes some time to cool down.

Mine was given RM1k discount so that was the final price.

3M shud be good.
*
Woah, its really hot without a window tint. Too late for me to regret now already with a layer of tint and now have to pay extra to remove the tint i guess?
Will survey more before making a decision.
My mileage is low, have not reached 10k yet since got the car near CNY as used only in city area.
Wonder if anyone have already did they "formal" service at 10k yet.
