Hey Guys, I'm a newbie to this thread. I used to collect almost everything under the sun. But I always have a soft spot for The Avengers & Uncanny X-men. I have a good run of Uncanny from #100 til almost the current issue. Anyway, just like everyone else, I'm an avid fan of Alex Ross. After Marvel, he did Kingdom Come. I was mesmerized!! Bought the original issues. Bought the Kingdom Come posters. Bought the hardcover (signed by Alex Ross). Bought the Kingdom Come trading cards incl. the signed card. Heck, I even bought the Superman statue that was purportedly sculpted by Alex Ross. But gone are those days. I still treasured all of his work though. Today, I've succumbed to the high exchange rate. Collecting comics is a declining hobby. The new generations are interested in something else. Sigh.... Added on June 25, 2008, 12:59 pmAttached are some of Alex Ross stuffs that I have. The hardcovers are someplace else, so are the trading cards. The framed Batman & Supes litho are signed by Alex Ross. Enjoy... Hey, I have the original issues of Justice. Saw the hardcover when I went to Mid Valley the other day. The cover looks great!! But I saw 2 variations of cover. Is there more than one cover for this hardcover edition? Is it just variations or is the content different too?

Hey Eric, Thanks for the heads up. Looked thru ur Comic for Sale thread. You looked like someone whose been collecting comics for quite sometime. You seemed to like reading comic books. I see u buy variety of comics. Is the Frank Quitely hardcover still up for sale? Do u have any works done by Barry Windsor-Smith by any chance? Kinda like the guy. I'm the 'buy-comic-book-and-keep-them-for-the-rest-of-your-life-guy'. I seldom sells my books, well... hardly is more like it. I've slowed down a lot when it comes to buying comics these days. Still pop over to Atria to buy pick up my 2-3 titles which I order form them.

I like Alex Ross style of art. His technique of blending water colour brushing & air brushing makes his stuff different from others. Bought the Kingdom Come Slip Case when it 1st came out. It's limited, signed & numbererd. Can't remember how limited is the Slip Case Edition. I have both the original issues of Kingdom Come & Marvels. Here's another one. Attached thumbnail(s)

ghoster, Batman : Hush... Hmm... Why don't u try Earth638, Atria Shopping, Damansara. The owner is an avid comic collector and is the writer to World of Wonder comics column (The Star, Friday, bi-monthly). He should hav them and if he doesn't, he may know someone who has them.

Yes, they r cousins. Me & Kaleon used to buy X-Men comics from each other. I think both of us have a very good run on Uncanny X-Men comics. I have (all in near mint-very fine if not mint) from #100 - current. I think Kaleon has more becos he buys from Mile High every now & then..... or rather then.

Hey Kenneth from PJ, Great stuffs you have there. Apart from X-Men, my 1st love has always been The Mighty Avengers. I have some old 70s & 60s Avengers. All the artists that are known in the industry have rendered their talents to the pages of Avengers. Nice FFs too.

Hola, Used to come to this thread last year but since there was not much of a "development", went into hiatus til today. Lemme reintroduce myself. Used to be a vivid Marvel collector. Started reading comics since primary schools. Grow up, found work and start buying and collecting comics seriously. Have a very good run of Uncanny X-Men from #100 - #500. Also an Avengers fan. A sucker for costumed superheroes. Used to be an Alex Ross fan. Bought almost everything under the sun that has his name on it. Plenty of Alex Ross merchandise still on display in the house; mostly signed stuffs. From comics to trading cards to statues & action figures. Don't let me start on my trading cards collection I'll put up photos of some of my collection in days to come. This post has been edited by Moebius: Aug 26 2009, 06:36 PM
