This is not a SSD but just getting this to store all my movies and making it portable. Woots 4TB is big in size, but it's a little heavy compared to the other 1TB or 2TB HDD. Transfer speed is acceptable, since its just used to store movies, seems fast enough. Got this from a promo at 11STREET. Just wondering if anyone tried changing the usb cable, from usb 3.0 to USB C cable? Would it work?

I am so tempted to consolidate my hdd. Is it ok to buy the Seagate 10TB Backup Plus Desktop Hub STEL10000400, or buy 2x 4TB WD Passport??

I know the passport would be portable and good convenient to carry around, but the 10TB would be so convenient as a all in 1 storage
