One time, I was at Jalan Ampang. Surge is 1.8x. Uber ping. The rider is 4 minutes away. Ok, let's go. Pick up rider. Since my phone is quite slow, it took awhile for my maps to show the direction. So, I went quite far (to the Jalan Ampang / Jalan Tun Razak intersection), then realize I was going the wrong. But I was surprised....the destinatation was 200 meters away from the pick up location.
I though rider put wrong destination ( I mean..no one is this daft, right?).
NOPE! It was the correct destination. Rider did not realize the destination was only 200 meters away. In fact, you could see it from the pick up location. (HOLY ShIT)
In the end, I got about RM 4.00 (because of the surge...lol)
Rider's 1st instinct was to use Uber app but not check first in the maps. Wow...

QUOTE(darkbaby91 @ Dec 12 2016, 04:13 AM) It's been 3 weeks of driving Uber and I've met many people. The worst thing that is always happen to me is when riders pinpointed their locations inside a buiding instead of the entrances. This got me in trouble whenever it's a new location to me. Yes, agreed. Perhaps, before you start driving to the location, SMS/call the rider and ask where to wait for him/her. Ask them, should you wait at the entrance or lobby or guard house or etc. If there ask you to come inside the apartment, ask them for the unit number... This is what I always do. Maybe it will work you too...

QUOTE(mekboyz @ Dec 12 2016, 06:27 PM) No direct answer. To many variables because surge or high demand can happen at any time and/or any location. So, you have to check both apps at the same time to determine which is cheaper.
