how much home user are paying and how much coporate user are paying ?

you can't really compare though

Horrible thing for those who work from home and deal with internet 24/7 Mot Malaysian service is about whos the richest gets the best.. bleh =.=

My line have been blinking furiously these days in the morning till afternoon and i have to screw up my sleeping time and use the internet at night.. I rather see TM broadband division goes down to the ground before i land myself in the hospital of irregular sleep. vmad.gif

Have to agree on that theory.. BT seems to run at high speed at night. Anyways, if some of you know that our "beloved" TM is the only ISP that have the best blinking DSL musical show? Even at windy condition, i mean before raining, the modem blink non-stop.

Been 5 times it blink at time of writing.. CRUSE you!

No problems so far during the night @ PJ, SS26 but its horrible in the afternoon 12 ~ 2pm and evening @ 5 ~ 9pm.. ADSL signal lost till kingdom come biggrin.gif

Only horrifying problem is when reconnecting earlier on @ 2am, 100% timeout and no respond.

Its a no no good now @ PJ SS26, connection is ultra slow. Everything is at crawling @ 10kbps max. Not sure if TM throttled my speed due to my last night youtube marathon.

Yes horrible disconnection here and there during raining. Complained and they say my modem is broken and needed to be changed. Pretty brainless while connection is stable when not raining.

Who's the minister in charge of telecommunication malaysia again, i forgot? lol. Such crappy service, we don't need one!! Wake him up before another earthquake or tidal wave or shark attack and on and on.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
*
He is useless, every news i read from the newspaper is

"I am not sastified on what our local ISP is provinding."

OR his signature speech

"If only the ISP do something right, everyone will be happy"

THe most used quote he said in most interview and also during the WIMAX press conference..

"I seldom online now, why? Local ISP isnt providing what is promised"

He talks more than action.. more like a chicken pecking the ground and run when found an earthworm.

Only around 9PM-7AM I can get some speed. Other than that time, unstable rate, latency spike up and lots of DSL CRC error and packet loss. There is no change in line margin/attenuation though.
*
Yeap, agree with you. I woke up at 3am this morning and the connection is really really good. Torrent trackers connected without 3rd party software and international peers downloads too.. at 8am.. 2 ADSL signal blink and everyone turn down to 0.. http downloads @ 12kbps?? Ouch.. TM must be hogging their own bandwidth for something else. shakehead.gif

Its been awhile i suspect that TMNET throttling is 50% capacity cut down so that heavy users wont be able to hog the bandwidth. The traffic shaping is only a cover up story so that TMNET can continue the capacity cut down.

TMNET must be stupid that they didnt know the side effect by doing so. Just my theory based on my connection. I hardly stream youtube, CNN news... but everything is smooth from 2am till 8am then a few ADSL blink and everything goes slow.

HTTP @ 60kbps default 207kbps with download manager
FTP @ 18.5 kbps and slower with 60.49 and 218.111 IP

media streaming @ hiccup points every 5 seconds and rubberband effect every 1 minute.

gaming pleasure @ 415ms ping respond to a server in west server while 398ms at east server. Game : City of Heroes / Villains.

I am tired of staying up late just to use the internet.. i want my usual life back!!!

Current speedtest

For the first time, i can connect to trackers without any 3rd party software help. Weeee~ Connection looks stable now at my side at the moment. Using 219.94.x.x for almost a day now despite the ADSL blinking during raining.

Today the bill arrive and states RM500++ perlu dibayar. Stupid them!!

No choice, TM thinks all computer users were stupid so they do what they like.. maybe in future they even control who should use or shouldnt use internet.

Why the anger? I lost my ADSL signal due to their stupidity of not fixing up my problems related to my dozens of complaints which is more horrible than you.

all international connection give 100% lost packets. Anyone experience that? Tried with 218.x, 219.x IP and give the same results. I cant capture 60.x IP so i cant comment on that.
