What is the size of the Civic FC wheel nuts? Thinking to buy the wheel locks.

Last time when i tried to change my lug nuts, the shop told me they dont have my size, they only have this bla bla bla.. show me the nuts, some shorter length, some longer thread etc etc

Planning to change lug nut as a hindrance from rim theft also. But the ori one is too expensive i.e rm300+. While the cheap one looks can lost shape easily.

Friend of mine advise just skip the cheap anto-theft nut as he encountered a problem loosening it before and had to force open it.

This is not an entirely accurate assumption.

The rule of thumb for all vehicle manufacturers is that any 3rd party installations which causes problems with the car or its associated parts will result in that part / damage not being covered by the manufacturers warranty. This is a general clause to protect the vehicle manufacturer but even then it will need to be proven that the 3rd party add on did in fact cause the problem.

Window tints rarely cause any issues unless its too thick / heavy and damages the power window motor in the long run. Branded tints will not cause any such problems.

So for tints, I would say its perfectly alright to have it installed by a 3rd party authorised dealer.

I didn't mean a court case to prove anything. Proof in this case is a logical explanation as to how that 3rd party accessory caused the problem. No car manufacturer is going to simply void warranty just to shift blame without reason.

Well i've had quite a bit of experience with warranty claims connected to 3rd party installed parts over the years with Toyota, Kia and now BMW. Hence my earlier statement. The only 'case' which I lost was with BMW when I installed a 3rd party reverse cam which was connected to the car's IDrive system. It didn't actually cause any functional problems since it was plug & play but since it caused a system update to fail, they insisted I remove it and install a original BMW cam.

Hi - I received my 1.8 Civic Lunar Silver 1 month ago. The driver side plastic door panel is rattling. Has anyone encountered this problem?

There is also slight rattling from the steering wheel column something like plastics brushing against each other. The sounds comes from either the steering cover unit or below the dashboard at driver right side. It's not really affecting the car performance but being a 1st time honda car owner (and japanese car owner) is this interior rattling something expected from jap make? Note: i drove kancil, proton and hyundai previously. :-( maybe my expectations are too high for honda quality.

I order civic front lip long time ago, but now finally arrived. I'm not planing to install it, anyone interested?

Finally done it !! So tired , first time detail car until 1am , the Soft99 Fusso really eat up my time , it just like take twice of my time compared to Meg ultimate liquiq wax 
This is what i prepared

so prepare two bucket , microfiber mitt Meguairs for top wash , cheapo giant microfiber mitt for lower part , sponge for wash rim and tyre , ready clay bar , spray bottle and can clay after wash

So why do we need clay? see after i give a good wash , there sure have some dirt that can't be wash off on surface , that why we need to clay  Can see it?

Start clay with shampoo and can see so many dirt stuck on the clay even after a clean wash

So what i have done today , Clay , Compound all window , Soft99 Fusso Coat whole body paint part , Meg Ultimate Liquiq Wax for chrome and lamp part, Soft 99 Side Mirror Coat and Ultra Glaco all window , tomorrow only do the wheel dust block , it's too late already 

About the interior, wait after i get install tint and carpet only do

Happened to my Civic too. 2days after I got my car last August, the cover keep popup. Send back to Honda service center 3-4 times before they fixed it finally. Initially, They tried many methods and it didn't work. They even took  another newly deliver car cover and put into my car (very unprofessional by doing that. Fuck! What the hack!). Finally the pull the ring (the one the cover clip to) to make it larger and that solve the problem. Been 6 months now without issue.

Because it is he paste wax that u cant let stay longer, u apply at 1 panel, then wait 5-10 min have to wipe off, and it really not easy to buff off seriously, if u let it dry more time, it even hard to buff , while using meg liquiq wax, i can just apply to whole car, and just buff off so easily, the liquiq wax can stay no matter how long also easy to buff

I really hope soft 99 can last longer, its not fun to reapply every 3 month , end up i will used back liquiq wax if the soft99 fusso not long lasting

But in term of licin, fusso soft99 win hand down
