TOMEI-R, I just checked the weight comparison between i7+ and i6s+. Slightly lighter for i7+. I guess it's the casing then.

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 29 2016, 11:32 AM) Top on my wishlist for iPhone 8 is dual sim - but I guess that's a dream coz of limitations in iOS... although they may introduce it in iOS 11 but I won't bet my life savings on it. Looking forward to i8. Did apple skip the i7s? Second would be to trim down the ugly bezels. It was fun while it lasted but come on, it's 2017 already, ha ha... The current LCD screen suits me fine, I don't really need OLED... would be a nice to have though... I have a feeling the oled model may cost more. Maybe >5k? |

QUOTE(666devil @ Nov 29 2016, 12:22 PM) Don't u know yet? Next year is Iphone 10 years anniversary. Apple saving the best features/changes for next year. Hehe, ok. Heard about the anniversary. Still too far away to register any significance of it. Now, just enjoy my i7+. Will attempt to get the i8 next year if price still ok (with the weak myr). How can u call it 7s with so significant meaningful Iphone year? |

QUOTE(attw @ Dec 22 2016, 09:42 PM) Walked into a Harvey Norman today and surprise, surprise, there was a Jet Black available. So went ahead and took the plunge, ha ha ha - so much for 128GB being overkill... Congrats. Whatcha going to do with your 32gb phone? TOMEI-R and Andrewtst, you guys are bad influences, ha ha |

QUOTE(attw @ Dec 24 2016, 07:26 AM) Passed it on to my wife - so she's not too upset that I spent another few thousand bucks, hehe.. Actually, because of the iPhone's resale value, every upgrade isn't as painful as people assume it is. For the 32GB one, I sold off my wife's iPhone 6 Plus 64GB for 1800 and topped up 1700 (bought it second hand from a fellow forumer) and for this 128GB one, I sold off my 6S Plus 64GB for 2200 and forked out 2100, so it's pretty OK. Good deal. I've been thinking to upgrade the other iPhone 6+ 64Gb. But not in a hurry. I will rush if the myr plunges badly. |
