just changed my tyre to UC6 185/55/16 for RM186 each.
CC6 is RM176 each.

Just had my 4 tyres changed to CC6 this morning (RM171/pc, excluding GST). And, I think I am having extremely bad luck as 1min after I drove off from workshop, I heard strange knocking/flapping sound from the rear wheel. I stopped at the next petrol station to inspect and to my shock, a bolt is stuck in my tyre!

I drove back to the workshop and the boss is kind enough to fix the hole FOC, appreciate for that. And he said this is the first time his customer left workshop and come back in few minutes with a punctured tyre.

Have been reading this forum regarding CC5 having softer rubber compound and prone to puncture, I hope CC6 is not facing the similar fate. Just hope this is just my bad luck.

guys, i got quoted MYR 210/pc at an authorized Continental dealer for CC6 175/65/14 for stock myvi rims. After i hear the price i was awestruck and halted my decision to change tires. The dealer claimed price increase 3 times already, they claimed the price was never lower than 190 since introduction. wth   

they say if want cheaper buy back silverstone at 170/pc or Viking at 160/pc   

I got quoted RM170/pc for ecopia EP200 at a bridgestone dealer.

i will get quote for the CC6 from another few shops around town.

fyi, my location is in kuching, sarawak.

my exprience using cc6 the grip quite okay and just same with other premium tires.mybe the handling lose effect from the way of driving too.

If you've been following this thread or the Dunlop J5 thread, there were a few people who mentioned they got more tyre punctures with these tyres. I guess it's probably due to the pretty soft sidewall.

The above pressure is adequate, however you may go all tyres for 250 (36 psi) for agility and FE.
My wira is 37-38 psi. Avanza is 40-41 psi.

It depends.
a) Basing on design weights of (wira) car OEM's, yes it's too high a pressure.
b) Basing on design of tyres (of various tyre manufacturers and association), no. It's not too high.
I select my car tyre pressure, base on (b) above, not (a) if you get what I mean .

Yes, these tyres can go up to 36 psi at a maximum road speed of 160 km/hr.
But the size of Vios can't carry that much weight.It's ok for FE.
If you intend to go beyond 160 km/hr, then you need to up the pressure from 36 psi again.

i guess is the same for every1 whoever using CC6

it looks under pressure from certainn angle. For this new tires, during the first 10k mileage i always pump it extra 2psi. As the tires is way too soft and compromise on my handling big time and it also could be the tires just fresh out of factory for 1 week then is installed on my car  .

After it gone thru the heat cycle now almost reaching 20k, the tires ridiculous soft feeling is gone and handling is not as bad as it started. Could be due to the rubber starting to harden due to heat cycle.

btw, my driving is 98% highway constant 100~110km/h and 120 sometimes.
