Russia airstrikes accidentally kill three Turkish soldiers in Syria, Turkish army says
MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin confirmed on Thursday that Russian war planes had accidentally killed three Turkish soldiers in an air strike that went wrong in northern Syria, the RIA news agency reported.
Turkey's military said earlier on Thursday that the Russian strikes had accidentally killed three of its soldiers and wounded 11 others in an operation against Islamic State.
President Vladimir Putin had expressed his condolences to his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan in a phone call, the Kremlin said.
It said in a statement that the incident had taken place near the Islamic State-held city of al-Bab in northern Syria.
Turkish-backed Syrian opposition fighters resumed a major offensive inside the city on Thursday, a day after they broke through IS defences in its remaining stronghold in Aleppo province.

Upgraded engine too? Still not very advanced, I don't think the armour can resist RPG.
70s era vehicle and its developed in the same era as the sibmas & condor where rpg protection still not a priority its only recently the more updated version 6-wheeled acv19 can be upgraded to withstand rpg

Four 'unsafe and unprofessional' Russian warplanes buzz US Navy ship
Four Russian warplanes have buzzed a US Navy ship in an “unsafe and unprofessional” manner in the Black Sea, the Pentagon has said.
The flybys happened on 10 February as the USS Porter was returning from an exercise with the Romanian navy.
An armed Russian Su-24, a supersonic attack aircraft, flew within 200 yards of the ship last week, reports NBC News.
In a separate incident, two further unarmed SU-24s came to within 300 yards of the destroyer. A Russian IL-38, an anti-submarine aircraft, also flew close at an unusually low altitude.
The US Navy tried to contact the planes by radio, but there was no response, two defence officials told the news channel.

marhalim said prolly all the infantry unit will use this fast helmet i dun really think it's necesary. old helmet is good enuf
its a lot lighter than the current pasgt style helmet but can offer same level of ballistic protection so its a good upgrade but i say its a trade-off with their equipments getting lot heavier nowadays with rpg and body armor becoming a squad standard load

No man, its not as easy as that, and most countries don't have the industrial and technical knowhow to do it. Even UK having difficulty delivering ships because of this, and some say there's a doubt whether US is really capable of designing a working new warship from scratch - other than the problematic LCS and dead-end Zumwalt programs, they're only building modded versions of Burke which is a late Cold War design.
MEKO and DCNS are actually decent choices by our navy. Too bad we have RM problems and of course Boustead have to makan their share
true
naval shipbuilding tech and know-how is not as common as you would think even in nations that have long history in shipbuilding like pilak is the 4th largest shipbuilding nation in the world but they have zero expertise & experience in naval shipbuilding

Problem arise when ship designed going for stupid technology leaps. Zumwalt program is an example of its new radar tech, new cms and tons of crazy tech. In the end the project going way too expensive they have to cap the cost and have to cut costs on rnd.
Meko and dcns was going for a more conservative approach and most of them use mature tech hence less problematic.
US lcs is a massive songlap project and total disaster.
