 How to stop windows from installing update?

Hi there what are u having probably a update malfunction here some step to fix it.

Shutdown windows update services u can follow the step donatelo mention
It shuts down Windows Update Services.

- Renames the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old

- restarts the Windows Update Services.

Emmm...i think u didn't read it well.

Disable windows update so that he can edit the windows update folder then enable back the windows update. It will ifxed watever windows update issue he s having.
No one mention to disable windows update forever. doh.gif
