I'm waiting for the coaxial 6x9 speaker as well to arrive before putting both set into my car for demo purpose.

The component for the front and 6x9 for rear.....that's my plan and most probably done just after CNY. You'll be first on my list once its fixed.

Nope, that's subwoofer with its enclosure. This is a midbass speaker.

If installing the crossover is your main concern, it wouldn't be a problem be it at the front or rear. There's plenty of space to hide it. If for front, my main concern will be the 6.5' speaker. Installing a 6.5' speaker is a challenge. Can be done but might be ugly because it gonna use a thick wood for support. The thick wood will reduce legroom space.

That's depend on the size of your existing speaker. From my understanding some kancil come with a pair of 5' coaxcial speaker at the back. Then there's a need to drill bigger hole.

the 6.5' rear speaker is very heavy and needed extra support? I am very interested to change everything by my own cause wanna try something. Yet lack of the knowledge.

How heavy is the 6.5'? the kancil rear existing boot has only 1 foldable thin layer of wood, i afraid it might not being able to support.

If i were to skip the MOQ of 5 how much would it cost?

The whole package is around 3kg, so the midbass speaker should be in a region of 1.5 to 2kg (a pair). I don't think it necessary to add support to the rear, worst case you take off the 2 strip that holding the rear panel.



Here is a good news. I already order a few units by myself and I manage to get it even cheaper than the bulk price. However the final pricing will be fixed by end of this week. Cheaper and that's for sure.

Its 6.5 inch in diameter. This measure the size of the midbass speaker.

Just got the demo unit and install in my car. Front on Sound Art component speaker and 6x9 coaxial speaker at rear.

Well worth the price.

Can you get 5.25" component set? I have a pair of speakers that need to replace. The 6.5" diameter is the diameter of the screw to next or measurement of speaker cone only?

Sorry only 6.5" component available ATM.

Normally a speaker size is measured using the speaker cone but you may add on a few milimeter on it for the screw to get the precise measurement.

I've it installed into a 1.6 wira and it doesn't fit the original plastic bracket which only good enough for 5.5". A piece of wood to hold the speaker will do the job.

This component could run without any amp with no problem what so ever but do remember there are times when by adding an amp could transform the quality of the sound all together even if only involving stock speaker. But back to question, yes its okay to run without any amp.

Lastly the oversound issue is a matter of taste and depend on a person ears. Some prefer disabling the rear for not to disturb the staging of front speaker.

Of course bro,

Sound Art is a good choice and the crossover will improve the sound reproduction.

I don't think it would fit into your kelisa front door but this can be easily solve with some minor modification.

The set of RM170 is the basic set-up for a better sound staging which inclusive of the Xtreme XT6522C for the front and X.X.X TX-6904 for the rear of the car.

You are good to go with just one set of speaker on the stock player but I wouldn't recommend 2 set mainly because lack of power output.

No problem regarding the player but if i'm not mistaken, kelisa original is fitted with either an 4" or 5.5". How about you drop by any shop and ask them if modification is needed in order to fit in 6.5"

Yes, of course having an amp will improve the sound a lot. I have seen cases whereby there is significant improvement just by adding an amp to a stock speaker with a stock HU.

Sorry bro as I haven't come across a Boschmann RV6200xt speaker therefore I couldn't commend. Cosmetic wise I might agreed that Boschman is better and Sound Art has quite a good quality built judging from the price because I've been using it for 3 years.

Hmm then i think I should revise the price... The price I'm selling is pre-petrol increase rate because of the stock.

My next coming stock might experience a little bit increase thou.

The Sound Art only comes in blue colour and currently selling only X.X.X 6x9.
