He's reasoning that it's a miracle to be able to do a game in 1080p on DVD. Is that such a huge feat that it's HIS HOLY GRAIL that only companies like EA and Sega was able to do so? Your argument about movies does not apply to games. Bluray/HD-DVD/DVDS are simply storage media when it comes to game, not when it comes to the resolution. Try better next time.

TotalHD is Warner's answer to all this format war hogwash, they are combining Bluray and HD-DVD into a single dual-sided disc.

blu-ray and hd-dvd still looks awesome on a 720p display.

and how much does a PC capable of playing HD-DVD cost then? U won't be able to watch a movie smoothly with a low-end processor and graphics card now can we? 

Even my PC struggles abit, with cpu utilization around 80%+ when i tried playing hddvd movie on my PC.
