Still considering whether to opt in for automatic tier 1.

Nowadays I hardly on Uber, only at area with less ping I'll on Uber(once I drop someone in UM, inside there hardly can get ping, luckily got Uber to get ping).

Other than that don't think I'll on Uber cuz scared of Airport trips.

ya, unlike Uber, Grab driver know exactly where passenger is heading and how much is the fare before accepting.

ridiculous if you ask me. driving around without rider is wasting petrol.

I mean, what's wrong with stopping when no rider? As long as immediate start driving upon getting ping then I don't see why is it wrong.

another good thing about GrabHitch is entire fare is yours to keep, no commission paid to Grab.

is this true? I'm still using the old app without map. New app with map when launch waze not auto start nav, must press the "go to" button, and my waze got weird bug very hard to press that "go to" button.

Yup full fare to GrabHitch driver.

I think GH is more of a way to promote people to use the Grab app, so when passenger unsuccessful to get a GrabHitch driver they'll use GrabCar instead.

GrabHitch is not a commercial driver, GrabCar and GrabShare is a commercial driver so its different.

GrabHitch you can choose to pick up people going the same direction as you, not for GrabShare.

ya but 2 very different service, don't think you can book in advance for grabcar and grabshare.

and don't think driver can set preferred destination and who to pick up in grabshare.

ya sad, i use it daily to cover my traveling expenses of working in KL.

You can try Wunder Carpool, fare is lower than GH but better than nothing, am lucky enough to find one regular passenger every morning going to work.

sorry long time didn't drive grab, when arrive at pickup point, need to wait how long before can cancel for passenger no show? any compensation for no show?

uber now got 5min countdown timer, easy to keep track.
