Hi All
Would like to ask is i port in to webe how long will it take for the sim to reach and will my current phone be disabled?
*
Recently, the port in process has been altered a little bit.

You don't have to worry about losing the line in the porting process.

Once, you have webe SIM in your hand, inform webe at 011-1000-1000 so that they can activate ur line within 24 hours. At the same time, ur current telco is still keeping ur number active. You'll receive SMS from current telco that ur port out process is accepted.

Within 24 hours, just slot in the webe SIM card to check the line is activated or not. It'll take about 5 minutes for the webe line to be detected by the phone. So, please be patient. Better still if u have extra phone, just slot the SIM. If not activated, call webe again. The port out may be rejected by ur current telco due to several reasons.

Once the webe line is activated, ur current telco line is ALSO active. Within 24 hours, ur previous telco line will be de-activated.

Just to highlight to port in users. My number is still unable to receive 2-step verification for Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook emails.

If you enable this security feature, just disable it. webe is still trying to figure it out since like 2 months ago... Shame, shame...

Whats that...? mine works ok..weird..

I was mentioning about email access.... Let say u failed to retrieve the password, u hv to reset email password but the verification code will be sent to ur webe number. Most probably the webe number will not receive this code...this is just one example...

Current telco doesn't have this issue as they have settled this long time ago...but webe tech team is ZERO-STAR service... Can solve 1 out of 10 issues given to them... totally hopeless and incompetent...

bill shock? Please tell more. sad.gif

"BILL SHOCK" = Advanced 1 month payment...

So, don't get mad ya if u expect ur 1st bill is below or equals to RM79...it won't be below RM79... it will definitely be at:
RM79 x 1.06 + Pro-Rate November usage(s)... = RM79++
