Mine is 7200RPM with 8MB cache....=.=

my WD 640GB 7.2k RPM 16mb scores 5.9

PC wizard description show 100.5 mB/s

U r using wd 6400AAKS right? how come I using smaller version of AAKS but cannot achieved 5.9?

by the way there is new hdd from wd on the way, the wd cavier black with 32mb cache.

how does vista rate ur HDD? from wat i c, its more like capacity den transfer time.

technically speaking, wit same HDD model, is not likely dat higher capacity will beat lower capacity HDD in transfer time.
so said, how can ur 320GB score lower den my 640?

ps, in terms of performance, cache doesn't means much........

seriosly i have no idea how the vista rating works. the score vary from each hardware.
any1 who using wd 3200aaks mind to share vista hdd score?

Lol, something is wrong, same specs but different scores. Try to re-run scoring.

16MB Cache! Mine is 8MB but yours is 640GB? Mine is 160GB.

8800 Ultra @ RM3k should be quite a while ago. I think you saw wrongly or it was another benchmarking/scoring program/tool.

as i remember is its shows max out only.................i dun remember the exact figure, my point is it is max out.
