Mine is outdoor.. but at the car posh there with no direct sunlight. Nvr see them drooling or anything before. And so far I nvr see them digging away all the bedding.. but my hamster does that though..

but wouldn't it make your bedding all wet?

She use hot nail or screwdriver. Just melt it through.. haha.. I'm considering whether to do that or not.. but partly I'm lazy.

maybe prelude lazy to feed them.. so he resorted to injecting them with his own formula of cocktail of vitamins and nutrients everyday. hahahahha...

How do you know whether a gerbil is overweight? oh hun you have electronic weigh ah?

I've tested several kitchen weigh for flour... 5/5 I tested are very inconsistent. Not accurate compared to the electronic. You'll have an error of approximately 5-10g depending on how lousy your weighing scale is..

ya I also need one... can come in handy at times. I've been looking everywhere and still can't find it.

hahaha.. i have a feeling it'll take quite some time for people to accept gerbils like hamsters though. Most people are like

LOL... those are initial reaction la.. but for my parent's case they've gotten more used to it already. Sometimes they laugh at the gerbil when they're digging at the corner of the tank with their eyes closed non stop.

wow i wanna let my gerbil try and jump also!!! lol.. but somehow i get the feeling my gerbil will end up jumping down to the ground instead.
