Just got my XZ yesterday, gotta say the Forest Blue colour looks even more amazing up close. Changed from a Z2 to this.

One thing though, the tempered glass screen protector that came with the phone....it just looks funny on the XZ. Doesn't fully cover to the sides. I know this is cause of the curved edge but....my slight OCD is kicking in looking at that incompleteness

I see, cause right now, the screen protector I have doesn't cover enough to the sides, so sometimes when I'm typing there's like this edge/ridge where the screen protector ends.

I am using Devil Case's full glass sp with AGC, and the sensitivity is not affected.
If one were to purchase a full glass SP, this is the brand to go.

Should be compatible, since it uses digital connection (and Sony is a fan of digital connection for better sound quality).

By digital connection means - USB-C

For RAM usage, mine is running around 2.4GB at all times, and that is even when I force close tons of apps that I rarely use.

Even after the update, my phone still feels laggy. And does anybody notice about the tap to wake function? It was supposed to be tap twice to wake it, but mine needed more than twice, sometimes even more than 4-5 times tapping quite hard on the screen, then it'll wake it lazy ass up.

Even the adaptive brightness function seems to have a problem. It doesn't adapt to the changes in brightness fast enough, sometimes it would actually stay full bright or half even in total darkness and I had to manually change the brightness, which makes the function seems wasted. It doesn't start on this update though; if I'm remembering it right, it started since the last 2 (or 3 update).

Mind you I don't even put on any screen protector anymore, and I regularly wipe my screen with glassess cleaning cloth.

Don't waste time for factory reset. Most of the time, it do not work.
When android update, it will clear all the cache, basically format only work if something is corrupted. But when you go check xda and sony forum, many peoples are shooting there, mean it definitely a rom problem rather than individual problem.
And giving you the more reality case. Few pages back, i said my phone was sent to warranty. The phone was lag EVEN first day getting back, which was formatted and upgraded to android 7.1

Hello, just dropping by as I was looking at Sony XA models, didn't realise it's MeditaTek otherwise it's looking quite sexy.

Also, I am quite surprised at number of Sony users! Just wondering, what made you all choose Sony over other flagship models in the market? Sony isn't cheap either, but their mobile industries seem to be shrinking as compared to others, no offense intended to the fans, just being curious, that's all.
