i have 1 question,
my cousin bought 1 w880 from singapore ,when i press the up down left right key,the phone will vibrate ,but the w880 my fen bought at kl ,the phone doesn vibrate when he press the key
how to solve this ??

I changed a new battery (under warranty) and the auto shutdown problem of my phone no more already :-)

Very happy with it despite the fact that the keypad is a bit too small. Otherwise it's rock stable

he just got his w880i not too long ago, but he said when he check at the Phone Status, under the Phone Model section, he said he saw it as w850i instead of w880i, is it normal? I guess w850 and w880 using firmware?

both also using original theme,but 1 is singapore set,1 is malaysia set
singapore can vibrate but malsysia set tak boleh

for me my thumb is big so couldn't really get used to it..

i got my mate [actually her husband fren] try to sold me W880. and it damn cheap! around RM500++ and she said it from Kastam 'rampas'. I have take a look and it looks a bit weird. i just hold it less than 30 seconds and dun have time to test all the function. the front part look very weird. it comes with shiny sony ericsson sticker.

i just afraid it was China made phone. that's why im asking. 

Just bought & upgraded to a W880i about 2 weeks ago; wanna check if anybody has encounter problems as below;

when I leave the phone sitting sideways on the 9.5mm thickness section, it shuts off say after 5 minutes. Other position no problem.

cannot command dedicated MP3 ringtone to individual in phonebook even though profile of the person indicating ringtone has been change but still ringing the general ringtone.

Are these problems normal? I have used W800i & W810i and still having it at the moment which do not give any problem at all for this menus. Any advice from sifu out there?

Not very sure about the firmware, it's got chinese characters & recently bought at Digital Mall. BTW how to check firmware from phone? What's the latest firmware with chinese characters?
