OK, shifted to 60 months for my friend. I straight put one placement rather than many RM 10k placements, should be OK right? sweat.gif She is not going to withdraw anyway until she leaves Malaysia for good. laugh.gif

thanks, which means we still receive interest (for premature withdrawal) as long as the funds that park before 1/8/17.

Meaning when paying using debit card, only basic saving acc money is linked/used? I got confused a bit about this
*
Yes, this is what I understand, will deduct from savings account.
Sorry, I'm not a fan of debit cards, all my debit cards feature is disabled. They work as a ATM card only.

I think this question has nothing to do with eGIA-i? unsure.gif

No longer interesting since 1st August, it is like a normal FD nowadays.

i just knew it in your sc thread
but same like fd also good right?
at least profit got it calculated daily and no premature forfeit right?
*
Interest used to be calculated on daily basis and you can place today and uplift tomorrow with profit.
However, with the latest revision, if you forfeit prematurely, no profit will be given to you.

too late i know that…still many cash put in gia…si sad

If you put in before 1st August, those fund still entitles for daily interest even if you uplift now.
Only those you put in on or after 1st August then have no more interest if uplift prematurely.

Put in eFD or other things lo which already repeated few times. Whatever inside your account so long put before 1st August still has daily interest even withdraw now.

read the new terms & condition.

guess which one of your scenarios falls into.
*
It seems from the way how you put up above, eGia-I and eFD are about the same with the former has additional 0.05% for one month? unsure.gif
I just put in for eFD for convenience purpose, if it works the same, I will switch to Gia-i next month.

Just click to uplift and request for TAC but no need to uplift it reality, then you will be able to see how much interest you have earned so far.

sorry noob question, since it is not protected by pidm, why don't just put in normal FD that cover by pidm? at least principal still guaranteed

since interest rate also between 3.5~4.0
*
Gia-i? Nobody puts there anymore since its revision. Reason we put there was easy to withdraw and we treated it like our savings account since interest was calculated on daily basis. Not really due to interest rate.

Anyway, that's history now.

Fill up the the following :
1) A signed Account Opening Form (which can be obtained from the website)
2) Photocopy of one's IC (both sides in one page)
3) A signed CRS Form

Scan all these documents and email them at eunittrust@poems.com.my
I did these yesterday morning and I received my user id and password by 3 pm.

If all else fails, call and speak to Anita at 03 20231174
*
Yes, sent email and didn't work. However, the email I sent to was phillipmutual@poems.com.my as I can see during my submission. I will try your email now.
Care to let me know where can I get item 1? Thanks! smile.gif

Edit: I got it now.

The form was initially filled online and that same form was emailed back to me when I contacted Anita. So you just have to print the form , sign it , scan it and email it back.
