Grrr no more profit for early upliftment!
Now in dilemma, not enough money for 5k/1month. But okay to deposit 4x1k, but cannot keep for the minimum 2months! Say, if term is two months, but i uplift after first month, can i get the interest for 1 month? |

So,
GiA: 3.20% | no interest for early uplift | not covered by PIDM. What's making anyone retain with GiA then? If not, what other FD instrument comparable to GiA that Maybank offers? |

QUOTE(TakoC @ Apr 29 2018, 07:57 PM) I heard that GIA cannot be uplifted before the month you opt for right? By right, you would get back only your capital, but profit forfeited? Anyone to confirm? What do you guys think is the best to park excess cash now? Still conventional FD or opt for GIA? Highest return to pro my excess cash. Don't need care PIDM protected etc. |

Pardon my poor math. so at 3.05%, for 1k placement, 1 month is equal?
3.05%/12×1000=RM2.54? |

for 'auto renewal' placements, is the rate fixed at the time of purchase, or will depend on the rate at the date of renewal?

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 26 2019, 10:27 AM) doesnt matter on renewal. eh wait? so if i subscribe at 3.05% on 23rd Oct, the rate will also be revised on 16th Nov? i thought the rate is commited for the whole tenure period (in my case, is 2 months), i.e. until 23rd Decthe rate is revised every month on the 16th. existing placement will be adjusted accordingly as well. |
