If that's the case then it's obvious the error is caused by paying extra than current balance.

Try paying again the amount after cash back deduction.

We do. In your case, I can only assume your statement date was last month, say around the 25th, you got your statement around say 28th. Meanwhile, cash back is credited on the 1st of every month but you are trying to pay after the cash back is credited hence you won't be able to pay your full statement amount.

Maybank doesn't allow overpayment and it will never go through. Maybank also doesn't penalise users for deducting cash back before payment.
