Great update. Would like to summarize my understanding:

1) Means for purchasing of new Gift Card, need to buy at any Petronas that sells it. So far no station allows purchase of Gift Card with credit card.
2) Promotion buy rm100, get rm105 in the Gift Card.
3) upon having this Gift Card, can be used anytime and Mesra points to be collected upon usage of Gift Card.
4) top up of Gift Card can be done with credit card at Sg Besi Petronas which qualifies for 8% cashback if we use MBB Ikhwan Petronas credit card on weekends

Anything i missed out or misunderstood?

It's a very convenient feature which also saves time compare to conventional credit card swipe at terminal.
At least I don't get scolded by people behind me for making wait when I use pay wave feature at chatime (rm7.50) or VG (rm6) 😀

Wave should be first option if available, unless you are still sceptical on it's security

Oh i see... most of my cards are Visa so i did not realise it

Every card application will trigger the bank to do a ccris inquiry - which will somehow lower your score slightly.
Got to know this when doing research on ctos, ccris and credit scoring.
So if one is worried about ccris and credit score, do a check yourself may prevent an inquiry which may lower your credit score even more.

Talking about zing card. I have requested twice via CS but no zing card sent to me. Seems they do not prioritize this area.
