For Ikhwan MC cashback entitle for Petrol & Grecories only right, buying from let say Select Shell or Mesra Petronas would entitle for cashback or not?

Just wanna let you know, transaction i made at Don Quijote in Tokyo during friday/saturday using this card didnt entitled for cashback although its pretty much groceries as well.
I called CS just now to check she said cannot check MCC for oversea straight away told me only local spending on petrol/groceries only entitle for cashback. So anyone have experience swiping this card oversea n entitle cashback? |

using ikhwan MC in Petron, transaction posted 2 days later. causing my last saturday spending on gas and groceries at Petron fall into April cashback.
Only with Shell realize the transaction is posted on the same day. How bout BHP and Petronas, can someone share their experience? |

I still keep this card for my groceries and petrol on friday saturday but since maybank revise no more 5x TP weekend on AMEX M2C, i see no point of keeping this mastercard ikhwan coz will just use AMEX for weekend petrol an groceries, since same 1TP earn also hmmm.
But SST just paid last month, maybe keep using it until next year and only cancel. |
