Don't just apply blindly.

Use email.

Just tell them you would like to have just RM2,000 limits for this card. Are you another card also from Maybank?

Few of us first time got rejected and we appeal via email and subsequently got it approved.

i thought applied online is easier and faster, but it seems easily rejected too. haha
no, my another 1 is from public bank. planning to use this ikhwan for petrol and because maybank EPP is widely offered.

I applied online also rejected. After few days, I bring the same documents to branch to reapply, and it was approved after 3 weeks, then now I am a happy ikhwan card holder.
*
my aunt working in mbb, she asked me to fill up the forms then watsap to her. but because of "leceh", i just applied online. no choice, has to do traditional way.
easily applied, easily rejected too. haha

No need formal. I don't have template. Just mention you have applied online and quote the reference no., then got rejected. Ask them if you can appeal and being reconsidered as you have fulfilled the requirements.
*
appeal done. hope they reply with some good news.😅

I thought you didn't apply anymore but just appealed?
If it's still rejected after appeal, you may need to stop and wait for 3-6 months. At the same time, check out your CCRIS. Any PTPTN with long outstanding?
*
i didnt keep the previous reference number, so cant appeal. i send this new one and appeal at the same time.
i think my ccris no prob. this is last month.
uob cancelled last month, shouldnt appear anymore in the new report.

Why dont:
1. Maybank Petronas Visa Ikhwan
2. CIMB Petronas MasterCard

If you drive a lot, you will surely hit the cap RM50 + RM50 on both CC for petrol itself.
*
i didnt drive that much.
my petrol usage 300 only. 😂
and i dont use petronas, only shell.

cimb cash rebate, if buy groceries at normal supermarket, got cash back or not? or is it only applicable at tesco, giant, aeon etc other big malls.

owh bcause my sal is less than 36k pa, only can have 2 cc. i aldy got 1, PBB visa. thats why need to choose 1. 😆

Maybank Ikhwan Mastercard- 5% rebate for petrol & groceries (Friday & Saturday only)
Maybank Ikhwan Visa Petronas - 8% rebate for purchase at Petronas (Saturday & Sunday only)

hence it is better if you swipe using cimb cash rebate cc

just want to confirm..
i am planning to buy furnitures for my new house. so i will swipe many times.
example,
sofa = rm2000 (buy on monday)
dining table= rm2000 ( buy on tuesday at
different store)
tv = rm2000 (buy on wednesday at dfferent store)

can i do zero interest instalment plan for each of the items?
let say, 5 ziip for 5 items at one time for a single credit card?
