test and let us know?

other CC able to earn cashback (Petrol category) probably due to MCC is eligible.

however, for maybank, we're not sure which parameter Maybank is detecting:

1) MCC, and/or
2) merchant descriptor or keyword (e.g. "PSS")
another example is the Brand 5 petrol (by Seng Group).

anyone tested Brand 5 with petrol CC and eligible for cashback (obviously not from Maybank Petronas Visa Ikhwan card)  biggrin.gif

In my opinion Setel is not considered as ewallet at all as it solely use to pump petrol at Petronas, it is more like just another kind of prepaid account.
But it is up to the bank what they want it to be.

i got 1 question...example I got 1 CC instalment which is rm2000 and take 12 months to pay, however i now got extra cash with is rm1000.Can i deposit into my CC and call Maybank to deduct the instalment month based on amount i put into my credit card?
*
If u pay extra than the installment amount, it will shorten the installment period, and next month still need continue to pay, until the balance is zero.
