I think you got it wrong and now buta2 your MBB CL is lowered and MBB doesn't give big leap in term of CL, you will need to apply again next time.

As what we suggested and also posted in post #2, you need to
split CL from your existing CL. That means your Ikhwan is not approved with any limit, it's taken from your conventional limit.
Oh is it? I don't mind getting my CL lowered...can't really use that much.
Can you elaborate more on "split CL from your existing CL"? I know it should pretty self explanatory and I did read the first page but still couldn't understand. I can't seem to differentiate it with lowering down my CL.

Ways to get Ikhwan MasterCard:
I) Apply like normal applications
II) If method I fails, then ask to split limit from your existing conventional credit limit to Islamic credit limit.
III) If method II still fails, convert your existing Maybank card to Ikhwan.
Yes, email is acceptable for CL split request. I got mine via email too.
This is the email address: mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my
Example, let's say my current conventional credit card CL is 10k. I lowered it down to 5k. So I have 5k more for Ikhwan. It does not work that way?
So what happens to the 10k CL if I split it? Can split to any amount?
In that case, how should I split the CL? I went to the Maybank branch in Sunway and told them my issue but they never suggested splitting CL...so I didn't know there's a difference
