Selangor is not Klang Valley;
Sarawak got oil & gas (of course in bad shape now).

GDP = C + I + G + (X - M)

where:
C = consumption
I = private investment
G = government spending
X = export
M = import

Consumption and private investment were down last year. But government spending probably increased last year, due to construction of MRT, Pan Borneo Highway etc.
