Thanks mate. smile.gif

As panasonic88 mentioned, it looks like the standard UI found in a lot of other Nokia phones. tongue.gif

Rayzrblade, when someone calls me, the ringing of my 6300 is going from soft then loud. It's not ascending, but a sudden burst of loudness after like 5 seconds of soft ringing. Are you experiencing the same 'problem'?

Not too sure if it's a problem or it's Nokia's intention to not shock the user when a call comes in.

hey i have the similar problem in N 6233 too!
yahyah, it is not 'ascending', it is under 'ringtone',
kind of annoying as the sound will suddenly burst to very loud
i set the ringtone volumn at 4 level only.

Well I guess it's intentional then. My K800i always scares me when my phone rings, especially when it's quiet at home.

then its totally up to which design u like ...
been using 6300 for 2 days, its a good phone, fits just right in my palm unlike my Slvr L7. The crisp and bright screen, makes me wanna say "wow" whenever i use it.
Other than the phone warm up during long calls..everything else is all good.

Different class. 8800 is a high end phone.

6300 targets the business segment instead.

But it definitely feels like 8800's sibling though, the cold hard steely feel of it.

Very cool phone, I loved it the first time I saw it on the papers. Seeing the real thing at the Nokia shop made me love it even more. Have not felt this way since SonyEricsson's T610.

Unfortunately it's not S60, so it does not match my phone usage... oh well...
