QUOTE(wkshai @ Nov 1 2017, 01:23 AM) Dude, this is not the price issue. You happy then can . There is some chance it will be new also from un assembled parts . But I don't want to take the risk .This is collection, sold my note 8 like a brick. Note FE way better to hold, battery life good n screen wide too. Btw, this is not refirbished set, its stated clearly on the box. In fact this quality of product way better than others device cause previous n7 was kaboom. Samsung not to dare to happen it again. Cheers. For real collector like me I got the original note 7 . Not note Fe . This post has been edited by xerox8908: Nov 1 2017, 01:33 AM |

QUOTE(wkshai @ Nov 1 2017, 08:14 AM) Note 7 is a collection but new note fe starting enjoy 2 years warranty n 1 year screen crack insurance claim 1 time only. If you use it then it isn't collection . You don't understand the concept of collection .Thats is the benefit n can carry around the world but not the recall. I am happy with it since sold note 8 n my V30 on hand too. Thanks n cheers. |

QUOTE(touristking @ Nov 1 2017, 05:38 PM) Technically you are not correct. Refurbished means used items that are made to make it looks like new. Technically definition from you ? This is taken from Samsung website. None of the parts in the FE have been used before. Galaxy Note Fan Edition is an entirely new device that has been reengineered with unused components and unopened Galaxy Note 7 devices replaced with safe batteries. They are brand new devices made exclusively for fans of the Galaxy Note. "Galaxy Note Fan Edition is an entirely new device that has been reengineered " I stop reading when I see this . Do you have note 7 and Fe ? Just check it yourself . |

QUOTE(PeeEl @ Nov 2 2017, 01:00 AM) This confirms it for me. Your command of the Queen's language falls a little short, which was glaring even in your initial post. You are trying to change the topic here . I won't comment the car part as it is totally unrelated to this thread . There is ntg wrong about refurbished phone .The referred statement was clearly stated by him that it was was extrapolated from the Samsung website. Why you are questioning that it is his technical definition fortifies my afore-sentence. In any event, the point of contention is, Note FE is not a refurbished device as you so adamantly inferred. Period. Much like the latest Perdana is not the previous Accord, albeit with some caveat. |

QUOTE(touristking @ Nov 2 2017, 05:13 AM) From the dictionary. Refurbish means, to brighten or freshen up No . Refurbished simply mean it had been return to manufacturer before . For example it already shipped to distributor or telco then Samsung collect it back . It is refurbished .https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/refurbish From Samsung website. unused components and unopened Galaxy Note 7 devices replaced with safe batteries. Refurbish usually means something that have been used or pre-owned before. That is not the case with the FE. Brand New also means there were no previous owner using the FE that you are going to buy from Samsung. If you don't like the word , then you may replace all of that with "reinforced upgraded " . Cheers . P/s : the thread title is note 7 This post has been edited by xerox8908: Nov 2 2017, 09:27 PM |

QUOTE(petrofsky77 @ Jan 6 2018, 09:30 AM) Hi all, just wondering, is this phone still consider good buy? Since its hardware a bit outdated and the OS also preloaded with Bixby. And how's the monthly security updates? Can get every month or now stuck to a certain month only? Really tempted to get this since Samsung is known for good camera quality, but software wise is still something of a hit and miss. Note that this is not a real flagship as its samsung attempt to reduce the lost due to note 7 incident .Its positioned like A7 or J7 that kind . So if update is important for you you should get s7 edge s8 or note 8 that kind . |

QUOTE(quineMc @ Mar 2 2018, 04:26 PM) Its obviously a one shot phone like galaxy alpha . It clearly stated as Fan edition and the purpose is to reduce lost by clearing those refurbished part of note 7 and only available in very limited market . i dont understand why everyone expect it to get real flagship treatment like real note series when note 8 is still being produce while note FE already stop production for long time .
