Guys, would you buy SME Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Blue Coral for replacement of Note 7? It's RM2688 in 11street.

i think so far the majority in here have interest and/or gone with one of the following:

S7Edge
OP3
P9Plus
LGV20
Pixel

How about S7 new SME set for RM2099 vs SME S7 Edge Blue Coral RM2599, what's your opinion?
I prefer local support rather than imported set like Pixel or OP3

it's difficult to answer opinion because it depends on individual preferences. software wide the S7 and S7Edge nearly identical. the only difference is the edge section of the screen mostly.

suggest you go to a phone shop and experience the demo units first to have an idea.

price wise outside street price is cheaper than via telco.

Actually I went SME to check but S7 no longer selling outside.
I don't need edge function but I'm afraid due to S7 is not selling here anymore, worry not many accessories to buy later 2~3 months down the road.

if you don't mind smaller screen and no edge why not
is still a great phone
that s7 edge is the closest siblings you get can beside note 7 as it also have big screen + edge features

Other than the screen size, the battery size also might be a factor; 3000 vs 3600

My returned Note 7 to Celcom refund was credited today to the bank credit card account. Time to cancel Celcom First Blue plan coming weekend.

Hey guys, since Note 7 is gone for good, would you consider this Blackberry PRIV as a temporary while waiting for Note 8/S8? It's a dual side curve display.

Haha well said laugh.gif rclxms.gif

I almost wanted 2 tie myself the note 7 with Celcom but after the news while my contract still on thanks goodness did not buy

I was saved by my contract laugh.gif rclxms.gif

I bought my Note 7 via Celcom First Blue and basically the refund took about 3 weeks and bank in to my cc which I've used to pay.
However, Celcom would not allow me to terminate the contract and said I need to wait for 30 days after refund received.

I appreciated Celcom for being kind enough to waive for the period during the first recall of Note 7 for being with no phone to use with their SIM, and that was almost one month waive though.
