I know a few people who actually disabled the OTA updates that prevents them from using the phone altogether, should they install those updates.
Seriously, for the sake of the S Pen, they refuse to take a S7 Edge as a replacement unit

This might be a good alternative if you don't mind the specs
If they can price the Note 8 at the same price range as the Note 7 when it first came out, I'll take it. Otherwise, S8+ will do just fine for me.

Typically, in every keynote, the speakers will briefly remind audience just how great the predecessor was. I am very eager to hear what they are gonna say about their Note 7 during the Note 8 announcement.
