totally agree there but din't samsung updated their software to enable 4G+3G already ?
meaning when on 4G the other drop to 3G and NOT 2G.

found something stupid samsung did ... does anyone know how to work around the stupid region lock thing ?
i do travel to china (HK too), taiwan and dubai thus very troublesome and costly to have to make a damn 5 mins call to unlock.

can someone help me with the warranty procedure steps ?
went to samsung service center and the say this unit is not pre-order unit and only have 1 year standard warranty. even showed me all the details related to my IMEI.
must i do something or doughnut did not register our units ?

thanks ... what exactly did they do ? online registration ?
samsung say they can try to do something but need receipt and Qoo10 just loves to issue invoices for their customers.

it seems only the note 8 can do that ... for ours can only pin and view non editable for now (hope they update)

I am more interested as to why they remove action memo, got it back through install apk.

ya i kinda piss as to why sammy don't let us edit pinned SMemo real funny, its like buying a 4-wheeled car with 3 wheels only

not sure about others and collectors are out of the question but for me am upgrading from an N years ago phone and badly needed the S-pen BUT do not want to break the bank. Now what phone have respectable high specs, looks good, and decent for everyday use be it business or pleasure, bonus for looking good ? Note 5 specs are lets just say out of the check box and Note 8 breaks the bank with a bang so what other choice you have ?
this is we assume RRP RM 2,599 to RM 3,999 (apple to apple compare price wise) ... you have RM 1,400 diff which is not "few hundred less"
S8 on the other hand is out of the question due to no S-pen.
Still at the end of the day most importantly it's your money so get whatever floats your boat.

My Battery Info
- Using Dual-sim
- brightness auto (mostly about 40%)
- AOD on (with dark area saving)
- some calls and messages
- normal SM and IM usage
- some light surfing
- some light games
- youtube awhile
- tethering for about 3 hours

Overnight with AOD about 8 hours, percentage drop only 6%

btw Note 7 is not true dual standby 4G+3G like Mate 10, just tested it yesterday. lame

hey cheap doesn't matter, how it functions is the one that matters.... that looks nice i would have gotten it had it be able to fold into candy bar (for easy transportation). Still hunting mine though.

then change company so my galaxy S4 well ... enough said.

this one is bad, damn wrong choice the TP is too small i thought would cover both sides until just before the curve sadly no. this impact the activation of the edge screen using Spen
But clarity is good just like normal and sensitivity wise if 100% is the original glass then this TP is
fingers = 95%
S-pen = 85% (still good but will cause some line skips when writing unless you write slow then is perfect)

so nah i do not recommend this, will leave it on till i find another suitable one.

for me anything as close to naked as possible is the best. dislike covering the mirror finish of the phone which we all paid much for.
I only get those clear transparent soft TPU back case < 0.3mm with dust plug then with a TP in front.
The big catch is got to be baby careful everytime i use the phone.

ditto that, the same as me too ... will randomly remove the clear case and take it for a naked lustful shower just to make use of the ip68 feature.

simple, just buy at "whatever floats your boat" price why are you so worried about whether the price drop fast or not.
unless of course you are one of those who buy to flip or constantly change phone after 1 - 2 years on.

Notice something funny or bug on youtube, not sure there is a fix or not or is it youtube problem.
(i remember reading it on Note 8 thread)

I was watching youtube and sometimes the video freezes something like "picture hold" but audio & video continues at the back. I have to close the video and open again, sometimes it persist and the only way out is to frame skip that part. It happen to me randomly on random videos several times (about 7-8 now) very weird.

also i have this random momentary lost of data connection (even though it shows 4G+) everytime i do wifi tethering be it to another phone or computer. NO way out not even waiting, have to flight mode and back to get back connection.
each tether session several times occur. Annoying !

anyone have similiar encounter ?

i just bought Note FE less than a month ofcourse am still using it pal lol.
and yes i am talking about this issues occurring on Note FE and it also appears on Note 8 someone highlighted it before.
