I would say generally 4g would consume more power. On mainly wifi I could get an hour+ extra. It is the same on my other Androids and iPhone too.

Is not 4g/2g but 4g/3g. What telcos were you using???

Had been using this phone more than a week and loving it. It is now my main daily driver and the Mate10 had been relegated to be the secondary phone
I had chose this over Note8 solely because of its reasonable pricing, bigger width and more proportionate looks. I had always love the SPen and is indeed a great piece of tool for me.
I would be keeping this if note9 turn out be similar to Note8 in dimensions.
My only hope Samsung will continue to support it in its firmware update.

Mate 10 battery usage thrumps it. For me without gaming at least 7 to 8 hours SOT Vs 5-6 on FE.
Fingerprint vastly superior too on M10. The Note FE s still older type of recognition and easily even loses out on sensitivity to Mate7 and Mate8 n 9.
The Spen is the Note most attractive feature for me

It is overpriced in its price when released. Best time to buy any Samsung is after a month or two of its release. I paid rm2.2k for mine online but these days one could get around 1.9 to 2k!!

I don't think it is banned. Only note 7 is affected. These days the counter doesn't even bother what phones you are bringing on board - my experiences with Emirates, MAS n AAsia so far

Note FE battery life i do find it last longer by an hour vs S7e
Also in operation is cooler than S7e.
Between them I will choose note FE as the bonus is the Spen.
